The only way to become a model honestly is to apply to an agency directly or get scouted on the street or on instagram.

Okay, don't worry about the weight then if you're built.

Unfortunately, your height Is still an issue. All clothing for shoots are provided at a standard medium, so typically a guy who is 6'0 to 6'3. It's a technical issue more than anything. You could (if your face is good enough) get work for editorial (no pay) and possibly campaign if you manage to flesh out your portfolio, but not for in-house or trade which is probably what you're thinking of when you say "commercial modelling".

If you're after commercial work than yes, diversity is on your side.

I've worked within my agency as a model and done some scouting, honestly I can't say much more about your prospects unless we see your face.

I don't think you really understand what is required of certain types of modelling.

Commercial modelling for catalogue and house requires you to be a standard size medium, which you are not at 5'10, sorry. It's even more strict than runway in many ways.

Editorial is far more lenient with height actually, as is campaign. This is the only kind of modelling you'd be able to do at your height.

true story: when i was 15 i got "scouted" by one of those shitty mall runway scam things. I ended up hopping on board for a while (I never paid them anything because i'm a yung hustla) and ended up doing some under the table sound work for their little shows, which actually introduced me to my current love of music production.
the whole thing was pretty wacky but i got some money out of it and it taught me interesting things about entertainment, even if on a very basic and small level. also got to hang with local cuties everyday, which was cool

Honestly the sex is great but dating a model can be a annoying. My gf is worried about staying thin on the lower torso and it can cause her to be sick often and have low energy. I used to grab my gf around the hips and you could feel the hips bones and it wasn't comfortable but now she has put on a bit more weight and is healthy again.
