I never new what was Veeky Forums back then. I was still wearing cargo pants and Airwalks. Pic was what I thought cool kids looked like.
I didn't like 2000s fashion in the 2000s, so I sure as fuck don't like it now.
Yesss I've been waiting for this
THAT IS MID TO LATE OUGHTIES FASHION, NOT EARLY OUGHTIES FASHION.

This.
People here just want to stay ahead of the curve, which in their minds means becoming early adopters of the next throwback meme fashions rather than creating new looks (which, admittedly, is much harder than copying your parents' old pictures).
While there's nothing inherently wrong with drawing inspiration from previous decades' styles of clothing, the better way to go about things is to learn from the past as a whole and mix the different influences together.
Early 2000's clothing legitimately doesn't look good. Most of it was intended to be anti-fashion and contrarian; more of a statement than a refined aesthetic, which is why copying it is the stupidest and most soulless thing a person could do fashion-wise.
literally hot topic: the fashion line
these are actual photos taken in the early 2000s, that doesn't even make sense
Thank you. His posts are horrible and annoying.
