hopefully fucking not
I'm still waiting for the so-called 80s revival to come in full swing.
Hope the fuck not, I'm 19 and hate the way everyone dressed when I was in middle school
No. Never. 90s-00s was the fucking dark ages of style
The synthwave/80s fashion is getting over soon
The 90s core it's starting to be the thing now
god i hope not
fuck grunge, rap rock, mallrats, and whatever the fuck nickelback is
I honestly love Kim Possible core on grills
I'm still kinda young to recall those eras
But how 90/00s people looked at the 80s fashion?
As far as I recall, at that time we used to think it was ridiculous looking.
long sleeve under short sleeve under long sleeve long sleeve under short sleeve under long sleeve under long sleeve under short sleeve under long sleeve long sleeve under short sleeve under long sleeve
00's core looked cute on grills imo
Not as much on guys since men at that time weren't as much into fashion as now. And the ones with good fits were mostly gay
>The 90s core it's starting to be the thing now
this board is hilariously awful at keeping up with trends
It's already here. How behind is this board?
Are you fucking blind, the 2000s revival has been a thing for well over a year now. Maybe almost two. There are infinite instagrams/tumblrs dedicated to that that've been posting for time.
>this board is hilariously awful at keeping up with trends
entirely true
They're coming back boys, get em before they become the norm
no its not you ducking birch.
y?
Based jnco poster
the 80s fashion thing barely fucking happened
if a 2000s fashion revival occurs you will barely notice it
that's nice but your opinion is wrong
this
Right now in the US 70's fashion with bootcut jeans and form-fitting tshirts will be very fashionable in SS19, with new ways of expression taking over the modern style uniforms of the mid-late 2010s, and the patterns/details will be inspired by modern taste and psychology, ditching the old vintage for contemporary pieces that speak to an audience desperate for a connection to their clothing.
80's and 90's revivals have to happen first, so no
The 90's core now is pretty obvious
I was asking if the 00's will ever be a thing again at that same level
Where's the fag that use to make 2000's nostalgia threads?
we've been having a 70s revival for the past 25 fucking years
in the 90s it was the hippie revival
in the 2000s it was the disco revival
now it's gonna be the sleazy pornostache revival
WE'RE NEVER GOING TO CRAWL OUT OF THE FUCKING SEVENTIES
EIGHTIES REVIVAL WHEN?
I MEAN A PROPER FASHION REVIVAL, NOT JUST A FEW NODS IN POP MUSIC, MOVIES AND VIDEO GAMES
hopefully never 80s revival was overplayed and cringy. you'd know if your interests wren't boring and mainstram
>eww yucky cringies
opinion discarded
already happening, look at Patrik Ervell SS16
alright have fun being nearly 5 years late to an overdone boring trend
that trend didn't happen in fashion, dumb fuck.
You see a couple of video games and blockbusters appeal to 80s nostalgia and all of a sudden you think it has an impact on real-world fashion, and then you have the gall to call me "late" and "mainstream".
You fucking myopic delusional cunt.
i was chillin with people who were doing the entire 80s fashion thing before i went to college which was 3 years ago and before that my friends an i were mad for synthwave and outrun and the massive amount of 80s aesthetic online that you'd find if you weren't a basic ass surface level discount fashion tryhard.
just stop
>having to ask this
I want mid 00s emo to be back again
Nigga you were in 3rd grade. Sit down
The arab guy who posts in all caps?
...
Women should be allowed to wear practical clothes. The state of the female wardrobe is pretty sad, it's all dress-up and form over function. I want to see more girls in good boots and milsurp out there.
The 00s were the biggest mistake ever
Why would there be? The 90s were the end of history
out
will there ever be a 1950's revival
>90's were shit
Scottish junkies at that time were looking good tho
>is getting over soon
When did it start? Are people blasting Kavinsky outside their cars yet?
err not to be pedantic, because i too would love to see girls in milsurp, but isn't that kind of dressing up? and not exactly functional (i'd contend that comfycore athleisure is probably the pinnacle of functionality for most urban girls. there's really little need for function in that setting, except for the very important function of making your ass look amazing)
1980s was 1950s revival,
reivals will typicaly be 30 yrs later
revials are ineviatbel
> Movie takes place from 1982 - 1987
> 90's
Yup
I am feeling some malcolm in the middle - tony hawk americana is coming.
But for the love of god I hope baggy jeans dont come back
Dude looks like a death star commander lmao
What is this? The Bends?
>But for the love of god I hope baggy jeans dont come back
Do you think it couldn't work?
Those aren't even jeans or really baggy, relaxed at most
Loose jeans aren't universally bad, just the exaggerated 90s version IMO. I've got a pair of loose leif nudies that I actually really like, wouldn't go any looser than that tho
I really can’t imagine us going backwards too excessively. Maybe borrowing little things here and there but the 90s and 00s were just awful all around. Today’s current trends I can see lasting for a long time
ID on sick boy sunglasses?
>Today’s current trends I can see lasting for a long time
There is no such thing as "new". It's all the same old shit, rehashed, renamed, re-marketed, and regurgitated, for the consumption of those that have never been there before.
not necessarily 2000's but a version of it. The version that's gaining WAY more steam than classic 2000's is like 2001-2002 era unironically those 2 years make a difference. it's focused on ironic glitter and one word sloganed Muscle Fit t shirts for guys and baggy longsleeves for girls. also expect demin colored shit to be popular and expect 'skinny' demin to be compltely dead and replaced by fat JNCO denim
they'll have to switch the leg flare game up to MASSIVE SLEEVES and blown out bowl haircuts.
...
Kek
Those are neither jeans, nor baggy, my guy
Does any have his dumps, or at least links to the archived threads?
They do look like the 00's cargo pants
I need more of his threads
is that Sid from Jimmy Neutron?
>I am feeling some malcolm in the middle - tony hawk americana is coming.
I can see this swap band tees and thrasher shirts for baggy sports clothes. Oversized is already a thing just swap for more color and the logo. Instead of plad print go for striped shirts and dad core checkered patterns
>But for the love of god I hope baggy jeans dont come back
I do not think baggy is ever making a comeback because slim adds length and gets you to show off your shoes. 00s had some distinct shoes already. Plus baggy on baggy is just a bad silhouette. But expect beige chinos and some joggers with the material of those pants with the zippers that can become shorts.
This
>the 90s core is just starting
do you not live near anywhere with a city nearby?
> But how 90/00s people looked at the 80s fashion?
youtube.com
Who the fuck is Sid from Jimmy Neutron?
Idk why but I kinda miss how un/fa/ were those times
it's already here
art hoes and skaterbois are eating this shit up
I can't wait for the bare midriff fad to come back
all of you are completely fucking retarded.
80s revival was full swing from about 2004-2009, you were just too young for it because you're a faggot teenager
>now
holy fuck this peaked years ago where the fuck do you even live
the 80s thing was huge in the early-mid 00s when I was in my late teens, early 20s. bigger than the 90s now. you were just the wrong age
how old were you in 2005? how close did you pay attention to fashion in 2005? oh you were in diapers playing Pokémon? That's why you didn't catch the objectively HUGE 80s revival
Can anyone I.D. these models? Its weird but I always like to see what people look like now.
PLS PLS PLS let there be a real emo aesthetic revival
WTF this board is seriously out of date.
2000S REVIVAL IS ALREADY HAPPENING.
Just look at all the matrix glasses and that shit.
Y2K REVIVAL has been happening at least since last year, and it will just move on from there. Baggy jeans, baggy tops, chunky sneakers. Be prepared
been here for at least a year and a half
makes me wonder how long have you been into fashion. Cant be more than 3 months
>implying real emo is that late 200s shit LITERALLY a decade after REAL EMO happened
more REAL emo from the REAL EMO era
>it will never happen
>it's happening
>it never happened
>it already happened
This thread
Fugging hope not
>I can't wait for the bare midriff fad to come back
75% of the country is fucking fat, you don't want midriffs to be in vogue especially with all the "pride in your body" hogs everywhere.
WTC impossibly pinned t-shirt
Women can wear whatever the fuck they want with minimal stigmatization. Unless you don't live in a first world country, count your fucking blessings.
>it just stopped happening
looks so fuckin comfy, especially the one on the right. can we ditch sperging over people who dress like astronauts and cyber ninjas and dig straight into /comfy/ core?
That's basically what scene culture was
Emo was dumb bring back skramz to the mainstream
Id rather not see posers with city of caterpillar band tees
>scramz
>not powerviolence and neo-post-hardcore
Scene was the fucking worst
I saw a lad wearing those the other day. He looked about 25, some form of retardation, and had a potato face. His jncos were really worn and busted, I think he must have just kept wearing them from the early 2000s, so I guess they last well.
theyre already back laggards
Bare midriff has already been happening m8
