played for a bit then quit,

how much strats do you think i should learn before making profits in live casinos or low stake online?. Like pot off, implied odds, fold equity, expected value etc../

Also are any books worth it?

@Bidwell
All these books are great - http://www.twoplustwo.com/books/. Particularly Harrington on Holdem. Learn as much as you want, particularly the maths side of things helps. And I would advise specializing in a certain format.

reading books

Get pokerstove, pokerrange, snowie, equilab, and pokertracker. there is another program to get that deals with gto postflop lines but i forget what it's called, you have to pay to use the full thing, and it's pretty taxing on the computer

books were outdated when training videos came out. training videos are outdated in todays world. next step is sites that allow you to use bots. (this kills the game)

Books still have their pro's, such as you being able to dip in and not needing to be at a computer (a needed break for many players). Harrington on Holdem for me is what made a winning player, I have watched 2 coffeeyay video packs but wiuld still say HOH helped me the most.

@whereismyname
what really helped me was streaming adrian fenix. i quickly realized a lot of my leaks like folding too much to flop cbets. (a very common leak) i guess it would be important to read some of these books since more live players would tend to play these outdated play styles.

I was recomending it purely for fundamentals, I doubt the books I've read would teach you much.

Pokerstars is dead unfortunatly.. I moved my volume to Unibet which is great for a lazy underachiever since I dont have to take notes on the regs and bother with a HUD

Also, if you're still playing cashgames in 2016 you are doing it wrong

Stupid fucking pokerstars are holding my withdrawal request. I got an email asking me to explain why I'm withdrawing so soon after I deposited.

Obviously because you idiots decided to give me free money and now you're just mad cuz I got you good. (They gave me a free cash bonus of at least $5 on every deposit over $30 for 4 weeks, once every week. So I just cashed that bonus 4 times and now I want to withdraw the principal+bonus)

pic related. I'm thinking I'll just wait two weeks and then withdraw again?

Before the merge of ft and stars, I tried to transfer half my br to ft and got this shit. Just reply to the email with something like "I need to bump up my live roll" and they'll usually let you do it again
