Don't know how it ended, but abrupt end probably means that it didn't get good ratings and was cut so it was forced to end prematurely.

Well the "ending" didn't feel much of an ending it was more like the end of some chapter that is obviously hinting at some next part but that next part never happens.

Hyde and byak are both really good though. American Byaks are always getting top 8 and don't forget the Hyde player who got top 3 at arc revo and that JP byak crushing it in the arcades

Hyde has slow and awful normals except 6B and Byak just lacks anything that isn't 66B for neutral.

The only missing features though are the dlc characters, unless you bought marie, nyo, and phase 4 in ultimate. Which means you'd only be missing raidou and honkers but you still have the option of buying them without paying full price for last round. Apart from that you'd only be missing some hair styles, costumes and a few stages.
