Do you:

Do you:
A: Just want to get rich, off anything
B: Want to get rich, but off something that you will be remembered and praised for?
I'd choose A, and they attempt to do B.

C. I want to do something, get praised for it, and make enough money doing it that I can just keep doing that at the highest level until I die.

Same OP.

I'm at 330K net worth and 25 right now. My goal is to put my company in a position to sell for a decent amount and then become a NEET for a few years while I figure out what I want to do.

>Few Years

Read How To Get Rich by Donald Trump. Great examples on how thats a bad idea

Just want to get rich, I don't give a fuck how, even if it means making anal porn and pretending to be gay.

My goal is 51 billion net worth.

A

Why the fuck would I give a single shit about being remembered or praised?

>pretending to be gay.
>pretending

sure, user.

I just want to get rich enough to buy land in the woods and build a house, then make enough in passive income to support a smallish family. (Wife and two kids)

I thinking I could build a decent house for about $150k, on a $50k chunk of land.

Ideally I'd be earning $10k a month in passive income to support this lifestyle. Maybe renting out apartmentsome, and then selling welded crafts online could do it. Maybe some music sales too if I pick up guitar again.

I have an interest in real estate, but I know it's an uncertain field and I lack the schooling for it.

Investing in URRE count?

did you grow up without any older men in your life?

after age 40, men start wanting a strong legacy (much like a women around 30 feels the burning NEED to have a child)

Sounds comfy. I want to do the same thing sort of but I live in Canada and recently I've had my eyes opened to how shitty the land laws here are.

I want to get rich, get into movie production and get my waifu to notice me

I don't care how I'll get rich or if I'll be hated. All I want to have is a nice small house that I would share with a dog. I just want to be left alone.

That's not passive income, user.

theres a dude in this picture, clown.

I want to do something that needs to be done. If I get rich from it, that's a bonus (and probably fairly likely if it truly needs to be done), but it's not the goal.

I couldn't care less about being 'remembered' or being praised. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing even if you'll be hated and then forgotten.

And?

you should want to create and nurture a reputation of consistency and reliability to be honest family.

I'm just memeing, I know I'll never get rich, she'll never notice me and I'll kill myself before I turn 30

>All I want is to be left alone
In my average home.

A. I specifically don't want to be remembered or known at all.

Go see her on Broadway and your dreams will be shattered

It's too late user, she's shooting a new movie right now
I wish I had the money to see her when it was possible though

>taking business advice from trump
Lel

i think recognition would only matter to me if i was already secure in my wealth.
it's like a pyramid of priorities.
do good for mankind make something that make civilization advance is the tip
do something that will be remembered is a more basic need
wealth and doing whatever the fuck i want is even lower

It doesn't really matter. Contribute something great to humanity or don't.

We haven't really NEEDED anything new since 1950. We had everything a happy human could want at that point. Everything since then has just been excess consumption.

I guess the endgame is to exit this planet and become a starfaring species.

this tbhfamalam

>We haven't really NEEDED anything new since
They could have said this at any other point in history because it's not possible to know what technological advances you don't possess yet. People in the 1850's were saying that everything which could be invented had already been invented.

I'd argue that becoming wealthy needs a certain level of interest in the business or subject. I don't think very many people get rich over something they don't care about.

>I don't think very many people get rich over something they don't care about.

She didn't become rich, it was inherited. The thread is taking about people building their own wealth. It's pointless to discuss how to inherit wealth.

I want option D.

I want to establish myself doing what I love and want to be remembered for it as my life-long investment, and make make several side passive incomes based off investments to cover my own basic expenses.

I'm going to buy an Armani suit and jump off of a really tall building so that the people that see me splat think I was a rich guy who just lost all of his money.
I'm actually really poor.
