It's a shame that even on the rare Saberface boss you find her NP still does average damage for a single target. Only really getting crazy damage if she NPs Santa Alter. Might be because of Assassin's innate 0.9x multiplier to damage

in comparison with Mordred, her anti-Arturia NP does best on Lalter who shows up much more frequently than Santa

I was looking at the shop banners the other day and it struck me what a scatterbrained incoherent mess the Oni event was.

-Titular banner CE was Ushi, who has no involvement with the event at all.
-Secondary CEs other than Golden Catches a Carp were Tamamo, Kiyohime and Benkei, also no role whatsoever.
-Only thing linking them is that they're some of the Japanese Servants.
-Kintoki features heavily in the event, suggesting he would be leading the charge.
-Event battles are such that Kintoki is chiefly useless and extremely unlikely to be used.
-Story introduces some fucked-up spatial distortions with the geography itself getting warped and then drops the topic entirely.
-Story also initially toys with the idea of there being someone hiding inside the temple Ibaraki was blocking, but that also gets dropped and forgotten.

Man, I like Lancelot too, but he's really bad in this game. Neither of his skills help him do more damage outside of getting crits, he only has two of them, his NP is average, and he's a glass cannon without having much damage potential in the first place. Hell, he's a Berserker with a Quick NP, so you can't even Buster Brave Chain with it, making that damage boost far less good than it would be if KoH were Buster.

I can't fault you for liking your favorite guy, but come on. You've got to understand that Lancelot isn't really that good where he is now. There's no reason to shit on other Servants or anything.

I'm not even trying to diss him or anything, but I legitimately have problems getting Lancelot's NP charged even with Kaleidoscope on him while farming hands. If I didn't have Waver, I wouldn't even try to bother, because he gets like 4% off of an Arts while taking huge damage from anything that touches him.

My Cu Alter hits like 20k at best per hit.

That applies to all Berserkers except Kintoki and maybe Cu Alter. They can't charge without dying. I had all of them at one point so I know this better than anyone.

Man, no he doesn't. Unless you have some 5 Star version of him, he hits for low to mid 20ks unbuffed. I'm using him right now at max level with a 20/20 Victor From the Moon, and he hit for 20k on his first Buster crit and 24k on his Third, with an unrelated arts in the middle.

Granted, I don't have him fully Fou'd, but there is no way an extra 900 attack will make up this difference of 25k, even if it were a BBC.

Cu Alter, as all Berserkers that aren't Lancelot, can't crit consistently.

Vlad, Nightingalr and Kiyohime are literally the only Berserkers whose cards give decent charge and Kiyohime only because she uses Caster animations

I never really talked to Melvin directly, so I thought maybe the memes were just shitting on a guy who liked Lancelot a bunch. I remember all of the stuff about him fudging numbers and Herk blowing him the fuck out consistently and all of that since Lancelot got added, but some part of me thought logic was a thing that could work here. I think it's the same part of my brain that always gives DW the benefit of the doubt.

But you're right, this was a waste of time, especially if he's measuring a Servant's power using buffs. Fucking anyone can be powerful if you just give them support.
