so i've been playing for answer a bit recently
and i just want to state again that this is one of the best games ever made and i have no idea why it wasn't more popular.
i mean, yes, i love classic AC too. but i also understand why it isn't for everyone (same with 5)
but for answer is simply marvellous in so many ways. was it maybe because 4 wasn't really polished and tainted people's expectations?
every time i play this game, it just feels right.
the sense of scale, the sound effects, that comfy flying, totally customizable booster setups, interesting setting that begs to be read into... it's one of those games that every time you play it, you notice something you've never noticed before and it just makes you smile.
having a 1 on 1 firefight strafing through the desert shooting at each other, the buildings between you and your enemy simply turning into giant clouds of dust as you boost past them at 666km/h, it's just fucking beautiful.
did V really kill interest in the series? it's just so hard to believe that only 2 AC games have been released between now and for answer and the series is basically dead.
again for answer is fucking genius, miyazaki is my husbando and i don't see why more people don't love this wonderful game.

I will say a mix of mecha being niche and lack of advertisment.

FA for singleplayer, VD for multiplayer. At least I used to when VD was actually active.

Stop saying VD multiplayer is dead, it isn't yet. You just have to network. Whenever Ahab and me are online we usually manage to get 4 people up pretty quickly, and sometimes an enemy team to sortie against. Otherwise, even if you don't ask anyone specifically there are still enough active teams that you can get a fight within 5 minutes max usually, assuming you play during active times (American afternoon mostly).

I'm disappointed in whoever drew that, none of the parts look anything like they do ingame. I think the setup is LATONA head, LATONA or Aaliyah body, BFF arms, and Aaliyah legs.

AC have a lot of different types of machines, economy, even if small, is part of the game too, so a RTS could show off many MTs, ACs, special weapons and even arms forts if is made on FA time, everthing together to throw a gigantic army of mechas agaisnt each other.

When you leave there's no reason to wait until you say when you get back, so they probably started the game. Communicate with user's in the /acg/ chat on PSN instead of on here when you're playing with them.

50% depends on whether you can keep the enemy in the lockbox. The other 50% is comparing the FCS range with the weapon range. Don't choose an FCS that has half the range of the weapon just because the lockbox is bigger.

Actually whether or not a grenade will land depends 50% on if they are on the ground or not and 50% on latency.

I've never played online, so I wouldn't know. I thought it was single player.
