What sun glasses do you use while driving Veeky Forums?

$10 zerouv shit from amazon

the retro shit

A pair of shitty plastic shades with purple sides I found on the side of the road 5 years ago.

>using something you found on the ground

Weren't you afraid you were going to get pink eye?

What is some good shit?
I wanna ditch the walmart shades.

oakley's for work

and i have an assortment for the rest of the time

none. My glasses have transitions and automatically darken.

I haven't met someone who didn't look autistic with transition lenses, myself included.

My super edge lord Dillion optics drakes. Pretty badass glasses really.

Some really fucking old ray bans I got from my neighbor when he died. These are the only sunglasses I personally own, and usually don't have them in the car.

I usually use whatever shades people left in the car
>rocking out with girls bug eye sunglasses
Better than the sun in my eyes

Neff Brodies

How much where they?

Oakley Fuel Cells.

I need new lenses since mine are scratched to shit after about 3 years.

280 I think. I've had them 6 years, just now starting to get scratches.

They darken with UV light, a car's windscreen should block UV light

A pair of Aviators, the prescription is 2 years old now so I'll have to get that updated to use them again

WHO /SUNVISOR/ HERE

Because that'll stop glare from a wet road

are you of an age that remembers when they first came out? i'm going to say about 20 years ago?

a friend of mine in grade 4 had them and they were the most autistic ever.. they took about 45 minutes to return to normal after being outside

fake raybans all day erry day

Some cheap aviators I picked up at Ron Jon Surf Shack in Florida.

I bought prescription glasses in 80% blue tint with Oleophobic blue mirror coating.

Blue tint is amazing, would highly recommend.
only downside, kinda dulls red. brake lights are sometimes hard to distinguish in direct sunlight.

I also have a pair of 50% yellow tint which are essentially those HD vision glasses.

great for night driving, poor weather conditions, and nice for starting at a computer monitor all day

Wayfarer II

Ray Ban Predators.

Gas Cans. They're within regs for my uniform.

/m/ reportin' in

Oakley batwolfs with polarized blue lenses, or my Holbrooks with dark grey lenses depending on how sunny it is

Nice, I've usually stuck with aviators or "Sport" style ones because of my head shape. But those look amazing
>Just gotta wait another week for my first paycheck from new job to come in.

Prescription RayBan Aviators.

Got them on sale for $50. Lenses were another $100 though. Pretty cheap for nice prescription sunglasses.

Polarized ray bams

10 dollar sunglasses I got from hot topic when I was 15. They fit over my glasses well and I'm too cheap to get new ones.

Just get something that's polarized so it doesn't glare

Are those the ones that Matt Farah uses?

>be blue collar worker
>company buys us sunglasses ranging from cheapo 3mm ones to 40 dollar polarized ones
I just use what the company gives me.
I try to take care of the polarized ones, the cheapo ones i just use until the middle of the lense is too scratched up then toss em and get a new pair.

I have a pair of Oakleys i need to order new lenses for too.

Fucking autist glasses. Nothing makes you look more retarded

Same brand yeah. I get a shit load of comments on them, people are always surprised when they actually try them on. Looks like you shouldn't be able to see out but they are super clear and don't really darken things very much.

Ray Ban new wayfarers or gtfo faggots.

Some polarized Foster Grants.

>look at these ray bans

Clip ons

Costa Jose with 580G lenses + tinted windshield + tint strip.

I really don't put them on unless it's very very bright out or I have my windows down. I can hardly see my gauges in broad daylight and I absolutely can't with sunglasses.

I got some cheap shit google shades i got when some graduates from my university that now work at google came over and talked about it etc

they're pretty neat.

What you think you look like

What you actually look like

$10 - $20 walmart sunglasses

This. I have prescription transitions for my work glasses. They don't do shit inside a vehicle or my tractor and it pisses me the fuck off.

Some $10 sunglasses I bought in a hurry on vacation. Currently trying to decide which model of polarized Polaroid sunglasses to order though.

really good shit is randolph engineering polarized. Glass lenses will scratch easier than plastic, but they do offer better optics.

>tfw green/blue eyes
>tfw it's almost always sunny
>tfw literally can't drive in the Summer without shades
I wasn't supposed to be born here.
I use some ray-ban wayfarers, anyway.

I own two convertibles. My transition lenses work just fine.

Well no shit

I use ray ban Justin rb4125(?)

Look like wayfarers but more squared off so you don't have that displaced Hollywood douchebag look

I wear randolph concordes

don't laugh

Polarized Ray ban pilot

It's the most comfy

Maui Jim Red Sands.

I've had ray bans before. I think I like glass better as a lens but these are alright. Much lighter.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold.

In this color

>What sun glasses do you use while driving Veeky Forums?

I use prescription eyeglasses with the "Transitions" type automatic shading effect and UV protection. I don't need to wear sunglasses indoors as that not only looks dorky, but also flags someone as being a narcissistic asshole. Because my eyeglasses are also large (not those tiny stylish ones), when the transitions darken, it also continues to look good and stylish.

The other advantage about transitioning type sunglasses is that modern quality ones change pretty quickly. In 30 seconds my Nikon eyeglasses are already getting somewhat dark in strong sunlight (now), one minute pretty dark (about 75% of max dark), 2 minutes to almost as dark as they will ever be, and five minutes to as dark as they can be. Someone I know has glasses thu the HMO-approved eyewear center and they get their lenses from China (2 to 4 week turnaround) and they don't change anywhere as fast or get as dark as mine do.

Remember, Transitions is a brandname of polychromic variable-polarization lenses. Different brands may have different approaches. Nikon is my preferred choice of such lens. Many small eyewear chains are just resellers of chinese lenses, so be aware.

Stay filthy, man.

Aviators

its not that its in regs, its the peer pressure from the tens of thousands of army fags that wear this exact model.

Polarised Ray-Ban RB3183.
>HURR DURR MATRIX

...

Thanks for the bump faggot.

The pair of 1967 RayBan Aviators my father purchased in 1967 as a Navy Pilot. He left them to me when he passed.

>trying to coast off the original wayfarers

That ship has sailed get a pair of 4147 flat tops, they're a mix between aviators and plastic rim.

because I'm a porrfag

Picture didn't upload

the best

those are straight fucking dad glasses these days

these shade 5.0 glasses i got cheap from the welding shop

have these except polarized, pretty good/10

Ones that block out sunlight

I have some prescription aviators. I like them for driving but they feel really out of place for anything else.

Dude, your face looks like my grandma's olde timey radio.
Wierd.

i wear neff rainbow versions of these

my eyeglasses were raybans in this style till they were thrown from my face when i rolled my tc, never did find them

I don't. Eyes are bad enough that my glasses are stupidly expensive, so I can't afford prescription sunglasses.

These BluBlockers

One issue is that since they block out all those UV rays, yellows and greens get washed out, takes a bit of adjusting

Prescription aviators.

Reebok Classic Blue prescription glasses.

Are they girly?

You seem like you have autism

max cringe

Pic related were free, but paid $80 to get them to fit my prescription.

Going to get some wayfarers + prescription, so about $200...

so what do you wear fagboi?

...

>He doesn't drive with polarised sun-glasses.

Come on fags, they're like £15. Get some. Cuts down on reflection and scattered light from the sky.

>they're like £15
more like £4
