Alright lads

Alright lads.

I need help identifying this car (if possible, making out the sign too).

This fuck broke into our house. Car looks like a volvo to me or something but sign is wrong.

Any ideas?

Your fucking camera is 4:3 and your display is 16;9 that's why it looks like a wagon when in, reality it is most likely a hatchback.

fiat stilo ?

nah fm too round hesdlights
maybe a Fiat marea

Post country/state so we know what pool of cars we have to try and match with.
And the guys right about the aspect ratio.

Greece.

looks like a proton or mitsuishiti

Too small, Marea is much bigger.

I'd say Alemra

Looks like a Toyota Corsa? (1998?)

I wanted to post the exact same picture. It looks like Almera to me too.

But I'm not sure if it's 3d or 5d. Rear window looks like from 3d version,

The back shape shows a bit better in this one.

I resend my opinion
Seems to be the real deal

...

Fiery with a body kit?

The car in question looks like a 5d to me.

Maybe it's a 2nd gen Seat Ibiza?

Cross post to r/cars. Despite for 4chin faggots say r/cars isn't a bad place when you're desperate

Oh shit

Brand sign matches too

Here's a video guys

vimeo.com/166233362

The wheel base looks a bit shorter than the one in OP's image but that could just be the angle

Otherwise it looks dead on

Hmm I only see 2 sets of windows and no dividers on the second one, seems to be a 3 door.
Also the reflection line is interesting, looks like a raised line following the grille shape.

The Almera fits the description.

Dunno, the rear curvature seems to start right at the beltline, the Proton's is way lower. Also I'm not even sure if Proton sells in Greece.

Palio?

What good is this going to do anyway? Don't cops just search by a car's type (sedan, coupe,SUV, etc) color, and license plate?

Looks right in the video

Dude you might just be based.

Do we know if they sell proton in greece?

I went to the cops and the dude didn't even help me ID the car.

If OP had the license plate he wouldn't even need our help identifying the car.

>walk into any insirance company
>"hi I'm looking to buy this car, can you track its history...no, sorry I'm not really good with brands (and yes, it would surprise you how many normies don't know what their car is)
>they give you its info, including make and model

Just checked how many Proton resellers there are in Greece.

Zero, they don't sell there.

Lights are wrong for a proton

These guys have it, it's an Almera

I don't know how you check that.

Can you search if they sell in Albania?

Albanians are usually doing breaking ins in my country

lol, it wasnt me who did all the finding, I was just trying to add my opoinon to the discussion

I cant find if it was sold in greece in the model year of this car

Trips confirm
Look at the shape of the hood.

Yeah seems like an Almera.

Google for suppliers in a country.
If nothing car related shows up (like in this case) then there is none.

Unlikely, that's the 2001 restyling, which afaik didn't sell in europe.

Fortunately for you OP I actually do super resolution image reconstruction. I'll see what I can do

Do you have a video or multiple frames of the car parked or otherwise not moving? The more the better

I have this

vimeo.com/166233362

Took a look at this again, I stopped at the end and could count a 7 spoke wheel or wheel cover, very similar to the Almera's factory covers in the photo.

Definitely this.

Rear spoiler and yellow badge are identical.

I didn't even know they had those shitboxes in Greece.

Sorry op, the algorithm I use only works when the object is stationary because it uses a dithering technique. Wish I could help

>I didn't even know they had those shitboxes in Greece.

They don't, it can't be a Proton.

Looks like a Skoda to me

Rescind*

The little symbol on the front end is yellow. What manufacturer has a yellow symbol?

Chevrolet?

Chevy.

>Mitsubishi is so shitty it even gets rebranded as a protein powder brand

It was me

Chevy seems to be the only option for a yellow badge, but none of their cars would fit that.

However, I think that the yellow badge thing is only disorienting because when I watch this video, the badge doesn't look yellow but silver, which would confirm the Nissan Almera. Unlike in where the badge is yellow

>pls confirm that I'm not crazy and the badge is legit silver in that screenshot i posted

Yea it looks silver now

Might have been sunglare before. Sorry OP thought I had something there.

btw, it kinda has a Austin Maestro vibe to it but it's a bit more modern.
