The frs interior is very cheap, in both quality and assembly. The upper dash warps in mild sun and the trim pieces are wrapped in thin vinyl. They use the same stock radio as older scions, speakers don't have too good of range. Paint is jokingly thin and soft (lulz). Aisin AZ6 6-speed is clunky and notorious for 2nd/3rd gear grinds, swapping fluid helps a bit but eh.

Personally know 2 that had to have trans replaced and another had engine replaced.

My issue was what I paid for it vs what I actually got out of the car. Ended up putting another 6-7k into it to get it where it really needed to be, but at the time wanted rwd coupe.

If you're gunna buy one, buy used. Or buy a BRZ since at least it'd hold value a bit better.
