If my calculations are correct: Moana at 40% Guilt does more damage than Auron at 50% Max Guilt. 3-Tier Magic buff is pretty ridiculous.

Auron would only do more damage if you use a Magic-buff beforehand since it would be redundant for Moana. But Moana would outdamage Auron anyway if the Guilt level was higher.

Wind Waker was terrible. Get over it.

Moana should be strong enough to replace Yuna at even her minimum guilt too, so it's half decent for f2p people. Not perfect but a 3.2 multiplier with +3 magic strength for your next two attacks is pretty solid compared to your other free magic options.

HD Sora/Riku/Axel and illustrated Leon all seem like they do almost the same shit as Jack and Sally do, or the B versions of Illustrated Sora/Riku. I'm not sure which ones are supposed to be the best between them.

No. They did Shadow and Darkside like three months into the game, by now JP had Young Sora/Riku/Kairi, and of course some event Medals were changed into Jewel Board rewards.

They aren't really following a schedule at all it seems.
