Is Anno 4x enough? I recently pirated 2205 having not played any of the games since the original 1602 and I'm wondering what I should name my corp

predictions on endless space 2?

SMAC is shit.

You take that back you heathen.

SMAC is watery shit.

oh did they?
Sweet.

Yeah i saw that wording on America too. I'm thinking we'll get Lincoln, but i'm hoping we get Trump.

>Build great Wall of America
>MAGA
>Can grab the pussy of female leaders and make them do his bidding

But Amenities are more important by that point, there are better ways to build your empire than packing everything just to take advantage of a big stadium.

SMAC is an amazing experience but a mediocre game。
An unpatched-Morrowind-exploit-level game.
Some of the bugs like infinite orbital drop troop movements were never fixed in the original.

>oh did they?
>Sweet.
Yep, Denmark, Korea, Celts, Sweden, Austria, Indonesia, Portugal, Morocco, Brazil, Venice, and Poland all had city-state cities that were replaced after those civs were put in the game.

>MoO update
what is this 40mb, fixes?

I'm glad, I hope the Dutch make a return with a trade ability.

faithful sequel to the original

i.e. boring as fuck game with little to no atmosphere, but a nice interface

how to pirate EL DLC?

>but i'm hoping we get Trump
and the least realistic expection of 2016 award goes to user

thank you for Correcting The Record

10 shekels have been deposited into your account.

#MAGA

Can't find any Endless Legend DLC torrents that aren't shit.

try IPT

I love nukes

Who doesn't like nukes?

Well, except Japaneses.

...

Anno 2205 is the least 4x of all the Annos.

Is that game 4X?

There's no real explore, but it's a turn-based game focusing heavily on economy.

Bigger screenshot.

Based on last night's replies, my species in Stellaris is using the following:

Traits -- Talented, Charismatic, Communal, Nonadaptive.
Ethos -- Fanatic Individualist, Materialist.
Government -- Indirect Democracy.

I'm thinking of replacing Talented with something else, given that between my government and certain technologies I'd reach a baseline of 5-star leaders eventually anyway.

Your thoughts?

You're playing a shit game and it makes me want to poop.

Guarantee you more people know who Donald Trump is than Nignog Mufugguh of Congo or Trannyris of Scythia.
>mfw he is Time's POTY and erry1 mad bouts it

Who cares, I turned my back on them ever since they made the space jews into little cows, the cowards.

How would you guys gauge the effectiveness of a Charismatic/Industrious/Thrifty/Nonadaptive/Sedentary species with Collectivist/Fanatic Materialist/Plutocratic Oligarchy?

Bonuses to diplomacy, minerals, energy, and science, with reduced construction costs across the board.

That's not very kind.

If you had to choose between one rank of Collectivist and one rank of Individualist (meaning that neither is Fanatic), which would you choose?

Keep in mind that Individualist would unlock the Hyper-Entertainment Forum (planetary unique, +15% happiness) and the Galactic Stock Exchange (empire unique, +10% energy) while Collectivist would unlock the Ministry of Benevolence (empire unique, -15% ethics divergence).

Do sectors build happiness buildings in 1.4?

That would greatly influence my decision.

With slavery minerals would unlikely to be the problem. Pick thrifty, energy right now is a major limiter.

Individualist. I can't be arsed to enslave pops so I'd rather have more energy from pops and less unhappiness from policies.

what's your fanatic trait? Kinda influencing the decision

How many triple ethos greetings there are? I only ever encountered xenophile-militarist-collectivist 'You will embrace the greater good", and it didn't always appear.

Reminds me of fragile allegiance

Watched it, looks pretty similar.

Even with RTS, we're dying.

Sorry I´m busy fapping to Zone´s latest work

Fine, I'll take it from here.

So, uh, this is an orthodox church. It looks pimping and really cool.

is this the place to talk about civ vi?

i know it's in the op but literally no one is talking about it and i'm confused

>Zone´s latest work
Post it on /f/

If you want to talk about Civ, start talking about Civ and people will respond

No Need for that

I want to chat shit about civ 6. World will be banged by greater india.

>stellaris still boring late game

>1.7 gigabytes
It's the 4k dolphin porn innit

Nope 1080p mp4 that goes for 16 minutes
If you dont trust me check the thread on /aco/

I can afford both. Should I replace Industrious with Intelligent?

Thanks.

Materialist for the bonus to science and the reduced construction cost.

...

I think the game could really use some superweapon projects to make death stars and shit, along with other mini crisis. That could help with boredom in the ending stages of the midgame and lategame

Anyone aurora 4x here?

I feel like I have no idea what I am doing, stumbling through with research and such. But not progressing forwards but sideways.

Also all of the planets, moons and asteroids around me have no decent resources

Oh my penis what a game.

is there a bug where i can clear a marsh but get no food out of it? my city did not gain extra surplus food.

>decide to be wild and play a pacifist nation in stellaris
>Almost every single other nation is literally fucking crazy for war
>Galaxy looks like a rave with plants constantly flipping colors
What the sweet fucking is going on

I had similar experiences with my "tall pacifist" games in civ5. I guess the reason if you do a "warmonger" play-through, you always observe the top powers and try to keep them in check. Whereas in pacifist they go unhinged as long as they don't attack you.

Did you played that autistic mod for World in conflict with point defence and some other wizard slav code magic? That shit is so cool.
Are you joking?

What do you guys do in Stellaris when you find another specifies with the same portrait as yours? Do you purge them outright?

A lot of good games actually have pretty weak gameplay.
I love Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, but I'll freely admit that most of the actual gameplay is rubbish.

>Militarist fanatical collectivist mushroom men
>Just finished devouring a third of the galaxy, the last hurdle being a isolationist fallen empire
>Find a second fallen empire that shares my species portrait
>They're benevolent watchers, basically the complete opposite of me
I tried to be nice, but they didn't like it when I purged almost every pop out of 4 sector ring world

>underwater space jews are finally playable
Time to roll in cash.

Every time I've played this game with any success I've been a huge warmonger, and the harder I war the harder I usually win. So this is going to be a bit of a change.

I just bough Stellaris, what should I expect? Did I just waste my money?

So is Stellaris "playable" yet?

yes

no

not until they add culture, religions, trade between your systems and deep, meaninful combat

so fucking never

Stop samefagging.

If you're not samefagging (highly improbable), then Stellaris is still bad.

Yea i kinda expected that.
It just happened mang.
Gonna pirate Deadlock 2 game instead.

If you're serious, check gog.com/forum/deadlock_series/deadlock_ii_screen_goes_blank

The Steam version, and, sometimes the GoG version too, have annoying issues.

It's like Cookie Clicker. The game demands that you click on things, and you do. Underneath all the busywork is ostensibly a strategy game that lets you play Europa Universalis, but since you start with one province it's a 4x.

Because its only way to win.
You Snow ball and steam roll everything.
More pop = more research and cash
This game look nice play nice but its system is flawed.
>no gradual colonization techs(yeah there are hospitable an non hospitable worlds and one tech to rule them all)
>upgrades of improvements or ground units are free
>ship upkeep is minimal
>bombing enemy population make enemy pops on other planets go rebel
>tech progression to fast
>no logistic so death stacks
>offense>defense so crush enemy fleet and then you roll them
There is no consolidation phase or modernization phase like in MoO. Just expand and crush anyone.
Sadly there are no hopes that it will be fixed.

Yeah, that's definitely the game's major flaw. Real gains are made through war, and all other mechanics only feed into fighting wars more effectively.

Oh.
That's just a detail, but I like how the examiner isn't just a normal guy, they gave him a monocle and some kind of PDA.

That's something that bothered me in Stellaris and Distant Worlds : scientists don't have white coats.

Yeah, it's sort of neat. I've come to appreciate the cartoony artstyle.

There is also some more.
>minerals are used for ships production but you can't synthesis or buy them - choke point for small empires
>you can buy production for coin but can't change production into coin(can't produce trade goods only trade that double coin output but have nothing with production)
>research points are independent from production or coins, come from labs or populations minimal upkeep, no scaling
>food is transported used freighters but minerals go into global stock and can be used anywhere
>no mechanics to slow snowballing, not even slow bumbs like in MoO where you need spend production on terramorfing, upgrading missile bases and factories, colonizing and investing in new planets, bigger=better always, expansion is cheap, colonize everything, even Stellaris have increased tech costs and sometimes its better to leave colonization of non friendly planets for later
>here? colonize every little shithole you find, it will benefit you(especially research).
>research come from labs and planets have limited slots for buildings, more planets = faster research
Game is flawed as single.
The best use is for short small map battles because with 100+ systems there is like 300-400 planets colonized in short time and its a chore.

>pic

meant to reply to kill me

...

>ninegig

fucking christ I need a ginger kitter

>those racial traits
I'll have to figure out how to genocide/enslave/deport these guys after a while.

Yeah, there needs to be a major balance of economy to reward building tall planets, to give you an option to just spamming colonies everywhere. Tall, well developed planets are better right now, but there's not enough depth to planetbuilding, meaning you never really have to choose between spamming planets or building quality, you can just do both.
Likewise, I'm fine with minerals being a choke point (you can strictly speaking buy them, I've just never liked trading with the AI), if there was an option to just spamming ships in every colony. Make going wide about "low tech high tonnage", and tall be about small fleets of very well equipped and specialised ships, which would again require a research rebalance.

They look adorable.

I feel like petting them.

It won't help.
>economy rework
>research rework
>colonization and expansion rework
>combat rework
it will not happen

Forgot pick.

These are new.

Well, serves me right for blind-expanding with colony ships. Press F to pay respect to 1 million brave Space Jews lost in space.

Also I'm looking forwards to growing my economy to the point where I can just stop producing ships and buy mercenaries for everything.

they are easy to kill and shoot only short range torps

Someone knows how can i get archivements in Stellaris without playing Ironman? Becouse it sucks ass not being able to save when i can only play 2 hours per day.

How does that stop you from getting achievments? Just exit out and continue later, i don't see a problem.

> Just exit out and continue later, i don't see a problem.
Is this a thing or you're trolling me? Stellaris doesn't save my game. If i hit exit while playing in Ironman my game is gone for good.

Ironman means no manual saves. It autosaves. Perhaps if you tried playing it you would figure this out.

>plays ironman
>doesnt even know what ironman is
>complains about an aspect fundamental to ironman

yus.

that's basically how I did it when I played. I had no idea what I was doing. its one of those games you have to just dive feet first into to learn.

you'll have to figure out how to colonize if you want to stave off running out of a resource. fyi terraforming takes forever so start as soon as possible, even with just one or two terraformers.

Heyo guys. I bought endless legend a week or two ago on sale, with all the dlc except the naval one.

I've been playing vaulters but I find it difficult to win through pure science. Yes, I can technically capture cities, kill everyone, and impede the progress of other armies, but how do people bolster their science so high?
I've been googling forum posts and see that people somehow rack up 5k science per turn per city by around turn 130-160 on normal. How the hell is this possible? I can barely reach 1k per city with around 4 or 5 cities and barely start researching the difference engine at around turn 140-160, which takes like 40-odd turns to research.
I've also searched vaulter games on youtube but most people just abuse the teleport ability and annex everything, winning either by capitals or expansion. Anyone have any tips?
Also, is the naval expansion worth it?

Naval xpac kinda breaks things with how many resources it provides, but the new race offers some neat shit.

>tfw the War in heaven erupts around you

>FE right next to you awakens in your fanatic militarist playthrough

>tfw you get sick of trying to invade a planet and just bombard it from space
>tfw you didn't realise it would kill the population not just the soldiers
>tfw you watch the planet's habitability plunge down to zero
>tfw the population drops from 30000k to zero within ten seconds
>tfw you accidentally 30 billion life forms
>tfw it wasn't an accident

(*30,000M)

>New LEX update.
Oh boy, I can't wait to get fucked in the ass by these guys.

Do you have autosaves turned on?
