they didn't, they still only own their tiny island, yet somehow they have 4th rate ships of the line, while the biggest ship I have is a sixth rate frigate, I had to recall my navy that was defending the traders to fight their 4th rates, which means that I had to recall my trade ships too, which has already costed me about 40-50k gold
