What do you people feel about all wheel steering?

what do you people feel about all wheel steering?

its shit

not really, it makes cars and trucks more nimble.

makes fwd more bearable/enjoyable.
>pic. related, 5gen edm prelude w/ 4ws
I have no experience with rwd 4ws though.

My 300zx has it. I've never noticed it do anything noticeable.

It seems like a gimmick but it's a gimmick that I want really bad

>4WS Prelude in Turkey
How hard is it to find parts for it over there?

The 90s was a magical time, where are the shitboxes with hydractive suspension and 4ws today?

the 911

1988 4ws prelude won road and track's slalom in 1987. This included Ferraris, lambos, porches, etc.

Not a gimmick at all.

In the olden times, showing off meant you had to have horsepower. Cue the muscle car wars.

Then the gas crisis hits and then the measure of technological prowess shifts. Raw power was out so you had to have other ways of advertising. Being able to slap DOHC 24 VALVE INTERCOOLED TURBO 4WS AWD HYPER AERO FUEL INJECTION SPORT X or any combination thereof was the way to go.

Now? Brand the fuck out of your infotainment system. It's a bit of what's old is new again in that all the old muscle car makers had wacky names for their motors, except it's been applied to faggy little OS(s?) that tell you where to get gas.

>Being able to slap DOHC 24 VALVE INTERCOOLED TURBO 4WS AWD HYPER AERO FUEL INJECTION SPORT X or any combination thereof was the way to go.
hell yeah muhfucka

Not to mention theyre subscription based and seem to be powered by a fucking pentium 3.

I assure you gentlemen, quadrasteer is no gimmick

>1* rear wheel turn master race

Does anyone here have experience with Hicas?

not much of a trouble, I simply go to stealers and order with the part number.
Most parts are not in stock and shipping takes about a month but worth the wait for oem parts I guess.
And some parts are discontinued by Honda, aftermarket parts or overseas wreckers are my last resorts.

>posts pic of car with rws removed

here is a 4 wheel steering, newish shitbox for (You)

>tfw the C6 is kill

Delete that shit it's the best thing I've ever did to mine.

Z32, right?

I don't know if the HICAS on my R33 still works, but if it does... then it's great at not being obvious.

HICAS is shit

This removing it is the best thing you can do, fuck that shit

it helps a little bit but it adds more weight and increases the amount of parts on the vehicle

OEMs are starting to use it again.

The new 911 seems to do well with it.

>this guy drives up
>"get in faggot"
>"we're gonna kill the prophet"

what do you do?

Exactly how I feel about it in my z32. It only actuates at higher speeds and can only turn 1 degree or so. Not noticeable at all. My other 300zx without it doesn't drive much different.
Don't fix what's not broken. Sure, delete it if it leaks or something.

I've had two 3rd gen preludes, one with 4ws and one without. The 4ws was pretty damn awesome, both for high speed handling as well as low speed turning radius compared to the one without it.

hhhhnnnnnnngggggggg
