Draven mid is really good with memelords. You can chunk people with your autos very early in the game and scale hard. He's safe as hell with his resetting move speed buff and his E (If you haven't used it yet to proc thunderlords) A lot of the times, I've done well enough as a lane bully to fuck them over permanently so they cant' come back after the first kill but that's just at my shitter elo.
