I love my c5z. the best? No. But definitely not shit tier. Sure interior a shit but I love my red accents. Excellent drivers car. Plenty of horse and torques all at a reasonable price. Easy to work on, cheap abundant parts and rich aftermarket.

These days, a lightly tuned C5 will shit on cars that cost twice as much. They're not to be underestimated.

>average 25mpg (even though I could care less if it were 10mpg)
>grabs positive attention more than any of the other cars I've owned
>has a HUD that is aesthetically pleasing and has the perfect amount of function
>rear visibility is surprisingly good
>has more "comfort" features than a lot of cars that came later (seat position presets, aforementioned HUD, tire pressure display, on-board diagnostics, etc.)

Only cons are the interior (mostly the 1/4 inch deep single "cup holder"), the Bose sound system, and the black paint attracts dirt like a motherfucker
