The fucking model is fucked up, theres like a total of 5 fucking poly in that one spot. It's not smooth at all like a proper M14. Textures wont save it unless you made it pure black or something.

the EBR makes sense to find in the Zone, since it's a discontinued project to modernize old M14s. Thousands of them were made and probably abandoned too, especially in Afghanistan/Iraq. There actually were multiple variants with different chassis and accessories

powerful cartridge, pretty good accuracy and soft recoil due to hefty weight would make it popular in the Zone, not to mention the all alloy/metal construction that would resist pretty well to anomalies
