Should Yuros be banned from Veeky Forums?

Scotty please go

>SRT had to teach Mercedes engineers what burnouts are
could Dodge be any more based if they tried?

Europe should honestly just be range banned

pretty much b8, but:
>massive penalties for speeding and having fun
What's negative about penalize those who endangers themselves and others?

>dont find drag racing fun
What's fun about accelerating the fastest?

>ever increasing hopelessly strict saftey regulations making cars more and more ugly and lifeless
Just as much as you, except for the positive safety regulations

You're aware that Europe consists of many countries that are nor alike?

>10 over
>go to jail

>he doesnt like comfy street racing and drag racing

european safety standards are literally not meant to be passed and if they are then they throw an autistic fit and raise the standards even higher so they wont be met

The only time you go to jail is when you get busted when DUI
You can't go to jail even if you're doing 250 in a 20 zone

>heavier cars
name one heavier car?

you guys have a harder security test
because seat-belt aren't mandatory
we don't have to speed that much because we can go faster legally 130 kph /80mph is the standard speed limit here
muh emissions is everyone concern just look at los angeles
american just can't win le man at all
you can't afford new cars too you just bury yourself in debt to have a overpriced VW
>build heavier cars than america
i need an example here

depend on what country in mine if you do over 50 kph the first time you can't go to prison
anything below you just can't

What part of that Europe consists of many countries did you not understand?

Not a single country makes you go to jail for going 10 over

>complaining about euro motorsports
Road rallies are by far the most popular forms of motorsport in the british isles, don't know about continental europe though.

>Ford

What about it?

Yes. Hellcat Cherokee and ram when

>ever increasing hopelessly strict saftey regulations making cars more and more ugly and lifeless
But that's the US. Illegal to sell a new car without 18 airbags and a backup camera there nowadays.

>you aren't allowed to import cars until they're at least 25-years-old
>you can't tune cars unless they meet strict safety and emissions standards which will be tested yearly
>the police will shoot you or ruin your life forever because you busted the speed limit by 5 mph and the cop was having a rough day
>if you break a law you can be utterly fucked for life because the modern law is not written to rehabilitate people but to punish them for life
>cucked by varying state motoring laws despite it being the "United" States
>"no-fault" states so a dumb nigger can write off your classic, expensive, or beloved car but you have to pay to it through your insurance policy and be raped for years with retarded premiums
>more autos than manuals because Americans are fat and lazy
>car leasing is more popular in the states than buying new
>ruin engines for the sale of emissions
>ever increasing hopelessly strict safety regulations making cars more and more ugly and lifeless

>10 over in Germany
>pay like 20 bucks fine
>lmao all the way home

>ruin engines for the sake of "muh emissions"
But emissions equipment is just as bad in the US. The only difference is that half of Americans can rip it back out.

There's a big difference between California and the rest of America. That being said, you can literally build a car to be anything you want in California if you make it from scratch

Indeed. But OP assumed Sweden is the EU at large. That was the point of the dumb >America green text. Everywhere is different. For example in the UK you can literally drive a fucking tank on the road if you deactivate the gun and put rubber tracks on it.

That sounds terrible. If I lived in the UK I'd just want to drive an Alfa Spyder again, it was tits

why would you want an import car? lmao

>legally driving a tank on the road is terrible
rofl come on son

You forgot about their lacking driving skills.
>no lane etiquette whatsoever
>use of cellphone while at high velocities
>crisis every winter due to their unpreparedness
>getting the driver's license is too easy enabling morons getting onto the road

because american domestic is utter trash

>live in Murrika
>drivers license vending machine is the hardest working employee at the DMV

>Loud
>Slow
>Uncomfortable
I'd rather have a hummer h1 at that point tbqh famalam.

need to take england off that map

we have tvr; a company that made cars with 450hp, 900kg and no electronic assits
also its fucking hard to get caught speeding when you know what you're doing

Which is loud, slow and uncomfortable.

a tank would get better fuel mileage

It is, but it's faster and at least will fit in a parking spot. A little quieter as well.

Probably.
>Tfw no h1 with a triple compound turbos 6.6l Duramax

Not around here it won't.

>be 'murican
>pour me some FREEDOM cereal with extra FREEDOM (FREEDOM = sugar) for breakfast
>a driver's license falls out
>it's the second this week
>clap for myself

>sugar
*high fructose corn syrup

That's because you live in yurop where your towns are absolutely cucked by medieval towns and a lack of space

Still more livable than your isolationist suburbs and absolutely inhumane spread out commercial zones.

>10 over
>go to jail
In my European cunt you only get fine if you're going faster than 110% of the speed limit and even then it's not that expensive. And I mean, I can go 150 km/h without any penalty, so there isn't much point in speeding.

>a tank would get better furl mileage
My uncle has an old T-55 he rents to people and uses in airsoft wargames (Eastern Europe here), he said it's somewhere around 400l/100km.

a real tank in airsoft games?
that sounds a bit dangerous lol

I find it funny only brits defend fords, while other europeans hmm, let's gently say don't consider them as a good cars...

cry moar

Please don't include the UK with Cuckinental Europe.

We have a healthy drag racing scene and some of the most relaxed modifying laws in the world.

>only brits defend fords, while other europeans hmm, let's gently say don't consider them as a good cars...
eternal Kraut shilling for their overpriced cars detected

>>cant afford new cars
I have a 2016 Audi TT

It is much lighter than a Mustang or Camarro.
>>electronically limited top speed on """performance""" cars
Not limited.
>>massive penalties for speeding and having fun
Going wangan is legal here.
>>dont find drag racing fun
>>double the price of american and japanese cars with no discernible increase in quality
The Nissan GTR R-35 is 99.999€ here.
>>ruin engines for the sake of "muh emissions"
Our engines got better year by year.
>>cant win lemans or daytona in the only relevant class
pic related
>>SRT had to teach Mercedes engineers what burnouts are and why they shouldnt stop people from turning off traction control
You get better acceleration with ASR.
>>ever increasing hopelessly strict saftey regulations making cars more and more ugly and lifeless
Burgers are worse, the require huge bumbers and weird headlights.
>>build hopeless complicated mechanical and electrical systems that inevitably break and cant be easily repaired
They may be complex, but as long as you do basic maintainance they will last.
>>dont allow the sale of crate motors to customers
We put decent engines in cars stock.
>>promote "No fun allowed' racing series like F1 and WEC
Formula 1 is still top racing class, and we do WRC as well.

>muh emissions is everyone concern just look at los angeles

Everywhere has emissions from ICEs. LA has a unique geography surrounding it that prevents those emissions from dissipating at a reasonable rate. Emissions isn't a major concern for anyone outside of such unique circumstances or environments. If anything, the improvement in LA's air quality over the last half century even with the massive increase in usage of ICEs proves we have reached and surpassed the point we needed to in order to maintain acceptable air quality even in the worst of cases.

A Wiesel needs 28L/100km and is better for offroad and drives over 70km/h thanks to its VW 1,9L TDi/2,0L TDi.

Don't know about the laws in other countries for modified cars (except where I lived before and they were nonexistent which was great) but they assrape your insurance in the UK which is already stupidly overpriced and illogical in the first place.
The UK would be fine for cars if only the insurance wasn't a total fucking scam you are forced to buy into by law.

I can't begin to recount to retarded insurance prices for different cars I have or would have paid. They make no sense.

>Tfw Arizona

In my town modifications are all legal on cars. If you have headlights and taillights and its insured, Go ahead. A man has a Chevy Vega drag car and daily's it. I see him everyday.

Same in ireland, so many insurers wont insure either old, modified, or jap imported cars. Doesn't really stop anyone, people just don't declare modifications, or register performance cars as lower power models.

Insurance is only expensive for teenagers. I just bought a Civic Type R and it was £450 a year to insure.

Do you get away with not reporting mods? UK insurers require you to even put down removing the back seats as a fucking mod which increases prices (?!) It's all fine so long as you don't claim, but I want to know how much they look for mods if you do.

I'm 22, no accidents/claims, impeccable licence and I can't insure any second hand car for less than £1k. In fact, if the car is anything but brand new, no mods, not imported and less than 1.6l it will go beyond the £1k mark without exception.

I don't fucking get it.

It really starts to drop off when you're over 25, it can also depend on where you live and some cars are just more expensive to insure for reasons. For example a Focus ST would have cost me £800 despite being similar in performance and price.

My insurer won't insure cars with engine mods (cold air intake is considered an engine mod), suspension mods, or exhaust mods. I don't have any experience with it because I've never claimed on a modded car, but I'd imagine they'd just refuse to pay out.

Considering the amount of modded cars here I'd love to know what happens if you try to claim and the inspector reports the mods.

Just pull your mawds after you crash

Maybe they just dont wanna insure dumbass ricers

>also its fucking hard to get caught speeding when you know what you're doing

You have fucking speed cameras every 10 meters, Fuck off. A 6000lb truck would destroy any of your little clownmobiles on your "b roads". That one user a while ago got a ticket and his car impounded for doing 2mph over the limit.

That's what the average high school parking lot looks like in a wealthy North American neighborhood. Those are probably CEO's.

Probably cheaper and less effort than declaring mods here.

Maybe if insurance is compulsory, insurers should have to insure anyone in a roadworthy car.

>implying ricers are roadworthy cars when they are 0.000000000001 inches off the ground

Get a reality check you moron

I thought it would drop off a bit at 21 since there was always a fine print "young driver (under 21) excess" on top of regular excess, bit it didn't so that was annoying. Guess I'll have to wait even longer.
>Focus ST would have cost more despite similarity
Not a surprise considering how illogical the prices seem to be.

That effectively makes modding illegal. That's like saying yeah you can upgrade your computer but actually turning it on and using it will be illegal after you do so. Or yeah it's fine to extend your house but only as long as once you complete the works you never set foot in your home again.

Sounds stupid you can't even learn and have fun hobbies.

It prevents ricing, which is justified

We have annual car testing here to determine whether or not a car is roadworthy, so long as it can pass, it should be insurable.

>stop enjoying things I dont like

School churns out idiots too, guess nobody should have a right to education.

Someone here really doesn't like hobbies. How do you like cars but not want to touch anything under the hood?

>build heavier cars then America
Because Europe is the one producing massive displacement engines in heavy pigfat chassis' right?

...

>tfw Tesla can't even beat a GTR, or 991 Turbo S on the 1/4 mile, let alone a Bugatti

>tfw replying to such low effort bait

>How do you like cars but not want to touch anything under the hood?
I like women but I don't like slicing them open. You don't need to be a mechanic to enjoy driving.
>muh autistic enthusiasm

>tfw tesla's 0-60 is half of a Bugatti's
Stay btfo

>someone knows something i don't
>must be autism

That's right, I'm glad you understand.

Spotted the nu male cuck who can't even inflate his own tires

>has to resort to name calling because his masculinity is so fragile

Even sports cars have performance compromised for better mpgs, emissions, comfort.

>not trying to get your cars full potential

>double the price of american and japanese cars with no discernible increase in quality
that's why we buy japanese cars

>has to resort to having someone else work on his car because he has no masculinity
Stay btfo

>install a horn button
>car no longer road legal
>have to tow it home

christ what the fuck happened to Europe?

We somehow became one country and adopted germanys laws overnight and no one informed me?

Europe is a continent not a country, and the different countries have very different laws.

We forced all of you cucks into NATO for a reason, plus I'm willing to bet $1 USD (4,000,000 euro) your nanny state is even more shit

I live in England. Probably more free then whatever hole you live in

We have more lax laws regarding cars and modification than Germany, if that's what you're asking.

>bongland free-er than Cali

Don't you have to prep muhammed before his daily prayers and his state madated fucking of your wife and daughters?

no questions asked just reminding you live in a shithole cuck nanny state

>no questions asked just reminding you live in a shithole cuck nanny state
Meh, so does everyone in the first world, I can live with it.

...

>tfw ae86s used to be cheap

I don't mind those shitboxes but the lidl sign got me

Different angle for you.

You had a lidl laugh?

Interesting plates, are they Irish or British? Can't tell, I've never seen that type.

Only coastal shitholes have inspections. In MI you just get your tags in the mail.

Most cops won't even stop you for 5 over if you're white.

You pretty much can't even engage the criminal justice system for a simple moving violation.

All of the laws that vary by state are posted on signs when they are applicable.

Buying new is retarded

Yuros don't even build decent engines because of emissions (no, your 1.5L turbo diesel isn't decent)

If you don't have no fault, after jamal totals your car you are stuck walking to work while your insurance and his insurance go to court and fight over whose fault it was and who has to pay for it.

Yuros making fun of american safety regulations is absolutely hilarious.

Its made from corn so its practically a vegetable

9130 IH is Irish anyway, not sure about the others. Older Irish plates look really similar to some British ones.

That's the older Irish reg format, it swapped to the newer one in 1987.

>go to poland
>people driving 150kmh on 1 lane curvy roads during the night
Yeah ok

How does your insurance even know if itss modded, I applied for my insurance on the phone, the only thing they even asked me was the VIN. I could lift, slam, swap, whatever and that doesn't change.

>italic font
I'm strangely aroused

What a bunch of cucks, once theyve issued a title for it here, they never look at it again.
