Honda Jazz "magic seats"
youtube.com/watch?v=-J0X1fniFbs

The driver has to put their seat belt on before they close the door, otherwise it'll get stuck.

I can start it without having to push the clutch in

01' camry great handling while going 40+ feels very secure
01' echo good power and basic little shit

opposing things I don't like
camry rear spoiler light doesn't work
echo it's tiny as fk and im 6'2 sometimes i bump my head on things.. PLENTY of head room though

Digital speedometer, analog tach

2006 ford focus ZX4
When I spray my windshield, (not when I actually turn them on) my windsheild wipers automatically turn on, then stop 3 wipes after I release the button. Then it waits exactly 5 seconds before doing one more swipe. ???

my 1.6l NA engine sounds like its supercharged by a team of 8 year olds with no automative experience

That's handy, I always have to give it one wipe more after a few seconds to get the water dripping back down

I can start my 94 capri without a the key

My MX-5 left the factory with no trunk release but someone has wired in an electric alternative that works super well and looks OEM too.

the engine is behind me

The cracked breather hoses cause the cabin to stink of petrol when the fan is on.

>Horn is located on the blinker stalk

Fells good, man

>Lucas
I can already guess it's Jaguar.

The cocaine mirror in the Lambo Jalpa

Muh suicide doors. One of the reasons I'd either get a redline or an rx8

My Hilux has not a single thing I would ever come to call a quirk... maybe a factory dual-battery setup?

Potion seller, I'm going to battle...

2000 Camry owner here (same generation/body style)
>spoiler light works but is dim
>rear window brake light occasionally doesn't work
>handles like shit (shocks in the rear are blown and all-season tires don't grip great anyway)
>not enough knee room
>somehow attracts mice even though I keep the car clean
>slow as shit and seems to be getting even slower.
I'm tempted to look for the V6 model of the same car when I get a new car.

Looks like one from a Land Rover to me

To accomodate a front bench seat my van has the handbrake on the left side
It has a hand throttle (actually the cruise control, but super sketchy)

Wtf is this car
It looks like it's a time traveling rx8

Pretty sure it's a Saturn Ion Redline

It has small vents on each side of the rear window which drive out hot cabin air when the air conditioning is on while not expelleling the cold refrigerated air.

My car is from 1989.

My car unironically has one front wheel.

every few days my right headlight will fail so I get to do this thing where I get out of my car at a red light and kick or punch the side so it'll start working again.

Usually gets a good laugh out of people.

It's a Saturn Ion, not sure if it's a Redline

I have an 01 Camry and I can confirm the 4 cylinder is indeed slow as shit.
Overall good car though.

I don't think my Focus has any quirk at all

2001 Prelude
>Doesn't have a button to tilt the sunroof, even though it sticks outside the car so all you need to do is release the button right before it begins retracting
>Stock audio system sounds good, but good luck changing anything but the head unit because the wiring on the rear speakers specifically is fucked. Honda tried to do some luxurious feedback system with microphones and a seperate rear amp, but all it means is that if you want to change it at all you are rewiring the ENTIRE SOUND SYSTEM.
>No remote trunk release even though the Civics etc. of the same time got it and the Prelude is supposedly more high end
>Two tiered centre console is nice to have
>Easy weight reduction since the car is essentially salt soluble
>Due to the headlight design highbeams will essentially form a wall 90° and forward so it's cool seeing the tops of trees almost right until they exit your field of view

Not much else, fairly conservative these Nips.

My Fiesta SE main quirk is that it is not an ST...

My car allows me to pick up your mom off the corner OP.
On a serious note my car is easy to make it go sideways just by blipping the throttle

Heated front windscreen?

You should buy a T from Pep Boys or something and hack off the E, I'd laugh if I saw it.

Back in high school me and my bro shared a Grand Am that my brother let his auto shop class use and they re-arranged it to say Grandma.

Everything in my truck is manually controlled

Windows, transmission, transfer case, hubs, everything except for the mirror adjusters. Those are electric.

t. every car owner that has an older car

negative quirks:
dies on hot starts, likes cold starts
vibrates like a motherfucker in gear, but fine in neutral
positive quirks:
a e s t h e t i c s

My windshield sprayer sprays weak like a limp dick, but for some reason when I use the rear window sprayer for any period of time and then use the front sprayer again, it sprays full blast like a fucking industrial water cutter (like it should), but only for about 2 or 3 seconds, then it goes flaccid again.

I mean the trick works very well so I'm not going to investigate the issue, but did anyone else ever have this wierd shit going on? Do any of you have any theories perhaps?

Pic unrelated.

pressure starts at rear, i guess. i think fluid is split front and rear; where both systems are pressurized. front however seems to depressurize more so by running the rear, you pressurize both. once rear is pressurized again front has been given more pressure and can spray harder

My potions are too strong for you traveler

im tired and sick let me rewrite this since i just read what i posted. imagine a Y where the base is the single motor that sends fluid. left is front, right is rear. left side loses pressure and since it goes to two nozzles it loses spray power. rear is one and sprays at full power. run the rear and base motor sends pressure to both. now front has extra pressure

Shared plumbing means your front sprayer may be bleeding washer fluid rearwards into that plumbing. Try blocking the rear to see if front works better.

Personally have had good luck with synthetic oil and Lucas treatment..My engines running well and KYB struts with Bridgestone a/s.. my Camry grips well. Sorry to hear your not happy with it

I see what you mean, might try blocking rear to see what happens. Also, the difference between it spraying weak and stong is clearly heard from the pump. It's like it deliberately runs at half speed to spray the windshield, but full speed to spray the rear. Still, doesn't explain why the front does spray properly when using the trick.

I switched back to conventional SuperTechâ„¢ conventional since it leaks less and is cheap as shit. Engine still runs well enough. It's just sooooo slooooow. I've considered ordering new struts all around but at this point I would rather just save whatever money I can to buy a new car.
I'm overall pretty happy with the car. I think It's going pretty good for having nearly 300k miles. Comfier than the newer camrys in my opinion. I got my bikes for fun and my shitbox for getting where I need to be.
I'm interested in buying a classic car so I can have something a little more fun while still being able to move more than just myself.

Nah it just streaks the window and I can't see shit

get new wiper blades

My wipers, turn signals, cruise control, brights, and steering wheel adjuster are all the same stalk.

Car dealer, I am going to track day, and I need only your most powerful car

Srs light comes on when it feels like it no matter whats replaced by honda.

I'm sorry.

my car's coolant is orange

...

The backseats turn into a work bench and a compartment to hold shit. Ill try to explain. You have the backseats. Lift the bottom of the seat up and roll the bench out. Roll the bench back in and lift it up to have a secret compartment.

How do you know it didn't break and was nig rigged?

Sounds like a ram 2500

What is an italian car?

pictures of waterpump impeller now

My Golf's cup holder separator is a bottle opener. Fucking Germans.
Has come in handy a fair few times though, to be fair.

>Nive quads

The driver door handle is barely rusted out, but enough so I can't unlock my car unless I do it on the passenger side. I have to do this every time I unlock my car (no fob). 1997 celica

It's a diesel.

Wait, isnt it like that with every manual?

>6th and reverse right next to each other
>no mechanism to prevent accidentally throwing it in reverse at highway speeds

subwoofer doesnt kick in unless the car is running and not just ACC mode

> 2011 Focus
Track metadata is displayed on the stereo's screen. I have to be obsessive about making sure it's all right, or just there, and make sure the tracks are named with number-name-artist.when I rip the CD.

>but only for about 2 or 3 seconds, then it goes flaccid again.
Who the fuck uses them for that long anyway?

No:/ my golf makes me do it, I even put a clutch stop in to help with the RIDICULOUS amount of travel before the bite point and it barely registers on the sensor

Yikes

Cool, you live in Europe right?

Nice
Cool car

Jesus I have A golf that's a GTI interior or TDI , or just a euro one, mine looks way worse tbqh , maybe I'll do a euro cupholder swap

I wish I had the 6 speed in my golf, it sucks on the highway, otherwise a great little car

ECT switch on my sc400 so I have something to press before a street race

>986 boxster// 996 carrera
>no glovebox before 2004
>you open the hood and trunk from 2 buttons on the door sill
>passenger doorsill has an indentation for a porsche brand umbrella
>ignition is obviously on the left side

Quirks
>comfy
>you have to open up a panel thats inside the cabin to even see the engine
>reliable

Guess car

toyota previa

it's called a courtesy wipe, pretty common on newer cars.

except on my '12 f150, didn't work for some reason

False neutral, shift the 4wd selector between high and low and wallah no one knows how to steal your car

>It has a hand throttle (actually the cruise control, but super sketchy)
I made my own cruise control by doing something similar with a clutch cable attactched to the throttle. Super sketchy as well but as long as you we're careful/only used it on the freeway it was safe enough

I drive an old bmw. the CEL is merely a suggestion unless you feel no power or a misfire.

the OBC is definitely just suggestions besides the brake light

everything on my wrangler is manual. hubs are perm locked

05 Grand Marquis. My transmission doesn't work in reverse, it just slips. Works fine going forward though

There's a storage cubby underneath the back seat strategically placed to store the tire jack or illegal stuff.

Good thinking japs.

I miss my Panther so much :(

Sometimes the belt slips at high revs

>door stop for the sliding door is gone, so the door will fall off if you open it too far
>if you open the back hatch, sensor will not detect it being closed, and interiors will stay on until battery dies, you have to pull the fuse to reset it
>radio changes station randomly
>have to turn on left blinker to use the front misters
>vents smell like maple syrup when you turn on the heat
>side mirror fell off and broke 30 mins after i made my final payment
94 ford windstar

Volvo 240
rear seats have full back massagers, but only because rear end has a vibration like a mofo
a full crank sunroof with built in water leaks
front drivers seat is blue leather, rest are tan cloth
kinda sounds like a light diesel, normies always think it is one, guess it doesn't help that rear badge says 240 DL
has a split driveshaft for no apparent reason
vacuum lines and hoses make neat noises when you are using the climate controls

Is that Doug DeMuro?

Doug Demuro, the traveler looking for potions

>automatic hubs

No, that's Andy DeTecho.

>toyota truck
>door open
>press lock button on keyfob accidentally
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

until I close a door

Not favorite, it was the only quirk I could think of.

He looks more like the potion seller

>hazard flashers are haunted, turn on at random and I can't turn them off unless I turn off the car and restart it
>must turn off radio, high beams, AC/heat/fan or autotragic won't go into 4th
>[INTERIOR RATTING INTENSIFIES]
>ABS light comes on if I drive in rain, despite the fact that the car doesn't have ABS
>TCS light comes on when using high beams, despite car not having TCS

Thanks Chrysler.

>Tfw car is so basic and practical it doesn't have any noticeable quirks

I will say the EX 7th gen Accord has a sunroof button in a stupid spot.

>slip the clutch a little bit roughly
>[INTENSE RATTLING THROUGHOUT CAR]

The windshield spray container is 5 liters. Always makes me chuckle

The driver window on my fr-s would make a loud screeching sound when opening it occasionally. People would always laugh and be like "Wtf is that!?"

I really hope they hold up in a few years when ricers like me get them.

>vents smell like maple syrup when you turn on the heat
Smoker.
