It's not a matter of "deserve" or not. After all, Hiroie has Hinezumi and feels he doesn't live up to his father and uncle. Hanzo just might not have the right mindset to see guardian spirits, so Byakko hangs on to his cat. Cats are known to be able to see supernatural stuff anyway.

there are occasionally free PS+ trials, usually only for a few days. Not sure where they're announced. just happened that there was one for a couple days recently and it made lots of people think Nioh's coop feature was free

Is it possible to be TOO lucky? I'm farming Mitsunari and I'm just getting piles of greens rather than any materials, and Smithing Texts are purple rarity, or at least their model is.

You get smithing texts for boilerplate items as quest rewards.

Purple sacks. The worst part was getting 8 purples from Yasuke and none of them being the axe smithing text. Ended up getting them shortly after though.

Final Blow refers to the attack you do on an enemy that's downed/on the ground.

Grapple is the attack you do when they are standing and weakened.

You want Damage From Behind. The Twin Sickles set you can get (Kingo's Armor), which is easy to get once you do get access to it, will give you a lot of these bonuses.

Otherwise, pick up the catwalking scrolls and general 'stealth' stuff. Pay a lot of attention to the 'grapple' damage on weapons--Katanas tend to be really good and even get a MYSTIC ART that gives more damage from behind. Finally, hope you luck out and get 'STEALTH' on an accessory or armor--this can show up as 'STEALTH FROM HUMANS' or 'STEALTH FROM YOKAI' and in the game basically means that the enemy won't notice you until you're right up on on them, allowing you to sneak about even without sneaky ninja magic.

Ninja Skills are all very good. I suggest trying out a little of everything.

You can really hose humanoid opponents with the bomb you set on the ground, as they'll fall, you can stab them, then plant another for them to hit and fall again.

Now I get what's Grapple/Final blow. But what about killing strike?

So it might be the placebo effect playing its mindgames, but after doing fifteen runs on Mitsunari via the quit to menu method, I did the thing where you connect to co-op to refresh your revenant set.

So I killed a revenant, loaded in another revenant set for good measure, and then on my 2nd attempt on Mitsunari I got his sword text.

So RNG may be linked to your current revenants. If you're having trouble getting a boss to drop shit while doing quit out farming, consider reloading your revenants and then giving it another shot.

No idea, never looked into it since its not the reason I'm using pcuck.

Why not both? You can level every stat to 99 and amrita per level caps at 10 million.

Suppa, Catwalking, Tiger Running, Quickchange scrolls. All really good. I would go with iai strike and stack behind the back damage for sneak attacks. With even the bare minimum stealth scrolls you can run through an entire level easy.

My strength is at 5. I can't really use much medium armor as a result. I tend to use light and medium armor.

Should I respec to 10 strength for anything but a super light onmyo build?

I'm in full redboy because it's plentiful off revs but that's kinda the only reason. I'm surprised I can use full red armor with 5 strength. I don't use axes at all.

you should commit flux to muscle memory and alternate between high and low stance to combo infinitely

Hey /ng/. I'm pretty new to games of this sort. I played Bloodborne for about 10 hours or so, but I never found a weapon that I felt comfortable with, and the game was really frustrating for me. I'm absolutely loving Nioh so far, though. Are there any other games with combat similar to Nioh? Do you think I'll be better at Bloodborne after I play Nioh?
