Actually, best thing you can do is enter hyrule castle through the docks and farm the royal claymores, royal guard claymores, royal guard shields and knight shields.
Just make sure you have at least 1 bow and 1 arrow before you enter, youll need it to get into the library

You can sneak around and grab the arrows without having to fight, its pretty easy just stay on the opposite side of the field.
