The Remix Heart manga and Remix Heart Gaiden are different. Gaiden serves to introduce Mai and Kajun to people who haven't read the manga and consists of new side-stories. Both are available in English and worth reading.

These threads have died out before. They come back when there's things to actually draw people back in, like new announcements. Are you really expecting to keep this alive for another 4 months?

/blaz/ has been going non-stop since last summer. Killing the threads isn't going to help. It's not as if the board needs to lay fallow before more threads can be made.

Also, people complaining about manga discussion have things backwards; the problem isn't that discussion, it's the absence of other discussion. Killing manga discussion would just make the threads even more dead.

It's a nice manga with great art written by the people who also wrote the games. It contains the same sort of material as the games, so people who enjoyed the BB story mode will probably like it. And it's pretty short so finishing it isn't a big time investment.

That's the thing. If somebody just now got interested in BB and decided to check out this general, only to see lewdposting and spin off manga discussion, they would most likely assume the game is bad and not worth playing.

I'm not saying this is your fault, or that VH discussion is really an issue. What I am saying is that if you guys are all that's left then it doesn't paint a good picture for the game itself.

The current problem with Blazblue is the simple fact that no Update is being release, unless online problems being solved. Other than that we have nothing more and then the game seems dead because the manga is what is making the franchise not look as dead/distract people.

GG has never been able to keep a general alive for more than a few hours. Even the attempt that was made right after the announcement of REV2 when GG hype had peaked died in less than a day.

Yeah, this lets people know the game exists... and that people don't play it, so it also tells them not to bother. A new player COULD ask questions here and possibly get help, but let's be real, that doesn't happen. All of our gameplay folks moved on to the discord.

There's ~20 regularly active people there and that number continues to grow. It's not some walled off clique. Click the link, ask some questions, and join the lobbies we host to get some practice in.

It's dying whether you like it or not. You can not keep it alive for 4 more months. Look at how much worse it continues to get. When we get our update, people will try again, and if there aren't enough people that care then maybe we don't deserve a general here.

It'll probably be after EVO, unfortunately. Rev2 is just finishing up its final loctests and releases in June for consoles, so an announcement at or just after EVO is perfect to space out GG and BB. It'd also fit the rough timeframe between Rev1 console and Rev2 announcement at the FGA.
