Not that good but far from as bad as it could be. read arena guides and stick it out as you have starters for a ton of decks that you'll be able to get online as you get your starter shit done. Liquefy extras will let you make some core golds for the deck you want to play now that you've been through the campaign.. After a while of doing arena after you did all the starter shit you'll be able to have most of the golds of a deck you want and that's really all you need or a lego or two.

First rule of shadowverse, /svg/ is largely shitters regurgitating >opinions they don't understand and are generally beyond terrible at the game. Most of their "opinions" are in complete disregard that you lack the better cards that make an older card "bad" and often are of the mindset that doesn't mind completely obliterating your ability to play other decks for 1.5+ months of hard arena grinding to bounce back from. A lot of meh cards are being revitalized by TotG cards and it's going to always be like that moving forward. That a card is worse than a card you don't have isn't worth vialing 5+ cards to make nor is it worth chucking a lego for a gold. You'll get plenty of cards if you stay the course.

You can do alright on up to silvers though you're pretty inconsistent. Golds help a lot and they're more affordable to run consistently than legos. Don't get me wrong, legos are amazing, but you can run 4 good golds for every 1 lego of vials.

Open a private match room, put your user name in the Veeky Forums post name field, make sure your sound is on and you can hear it then post the match id Play 20 private matches without conceding to get 2000 gold
Play the story mode for free cards and experience with each deck
Beat the practice match elite difficult AI for each leader for 2800 gold total
Look up budget deck lists and look over what you have and put together some crapass deck and play some ranked to get your dick wet
Play your take 2 arena tickets out for ~14 packs

From here it depends If you reliably went 3 wins 2 losses in arena, you'll want to turn your gold into arena tickets to get +50-100% more of your value Keep updating a deck for each leader as you unpack cards and do every daily Turn that gold into more tickets Log in daily for the login reward You should be getting 10-20 packs a weeks Buy some DE and a few Baha packs at some point If you want, save up some gold for the Bahamut ticket arena reward event at some point to rake in and clear out the cards you need from that set If you can't reliably 3-2, do NOT buy tickets You'll just piss away your dosh and time. Or just buy straight packs cause you hate yourself

Don't liquefy your cards in general Between your welfare packs and the ez grab packs followed by all the added tickets and packs from getting 3-5 wins per ticket you'll have enough for about 4 budget decks from liquefy extras that you glue together with golds and silvers to do ranked Every week between cheevos, levelups, score rewards, dailies, and winning arena to double your money to buy more tickets you'll get about 10-20 packs a week Within a month you can play knockoffs of about 12-ish decks and have most of a couple good decks on rng Once you fill out most of your card pool the vials will start pouring in from the extras From that experience you'll know what you want be able to craft from your liquefied extras while still being able to play a bunch of budgets

You are given enough cards to make those legends when you start the game. Dust cards you aren't using and you will have enough. Again, you're complaining about problems that don't exist.

Go into the deck screen, hit copy, scroll over, copy your default deck, and start replacing cards their their stronger counterpart to get a power boost out of the gate to do mission 8 for the ticket. Don't bother with the new 9-11 story missions for now as those are much harder. The elite I AI's you can usually outmuscle with an aggro ramp list. You may have to do a bunch until you curve out but it's 1400 gold.

I think Forest, Sword, Dragon and Blood got the best cards in ToG.

Rune got a lot of support for Dirt Rune, but not much for its other archetypes. Same with Shadow, a lot of support for a midrange/tempo playstyle but not much for its other archetypes. Haven is haven, they got new interesting toys but they will stay that weird craft that doesn't matter much.

I just need one or the other to cover dailies since i don't have a functional forest or haven one.

What? Haven was never irrelevant outside of vanilla.
It was tier 1 in DE and consistently tier 2 in RoB. Control decks play Odin mainly with Seraph in mind.

Not really, the Haven whining was only back in DE. Nep rapes Elana and Sun Haven, and has a slightly bad matchup with Storm but that's only because of its aggro nature. Only Seraph is a big fuck you because the deck is slow as hell but can't afford to run Odin.

Vial your Front Line, Arthurian Light, Gemstaff, Rogue's Creed, Memes in the Sky and any other useless shit you have in other classes to make 2 more Alberts and 2 more Alwida's Command.
