what skills should i be prioritising for the EOU story party? no idea wtf i'm supposed to do with highlander except delayed/cross charge
I said it was tomorrow I'm not a fucking time traveler.
Highlander should focus on Spear Assist, Delayed Charge + Cross Charge, Limitless, and Bloody Offense. Raquna should focus on Defender, Bravery's Gift, Shield Rush, and the Elemental Walls. Simon should focus on Delayed Heal first and foremost, and then Refresh/Unbind/Resurrect, but make sure you don't level them up yet if you don't like how expensive it is, also Focus is nice. Arthur should use Focus + Dilution, then max out Formula Mastery and eventually branch out towards 1 point in Inferno/Thor/Cocytus, you can also give Arthur Focus as well. Finally for Ricky get all the charged shots, Action Boost, and Recharge.
I'm still sad this artist stopped drawing EO and made almost all of her EO related work private

You mean theres no way to stop ailments after the fact? What good is it even for then, it wastes a buff slot and you have to waste a shitload of TP just for the small chance that theyll use an ailment, which is rare and not worth it unless its telegraphed as fuck.

Its inconsistent as fuck though. It only last 3 turns and takes up a slot that could be used for better buffs. Trying to have it up the entire fight is a very costly option TP wise, unless you can predict exactly when the boss is going to lay down ailments.
You're underestimating just how useful something like preventing ailments for 3 turns can be. Plenty of FOEs and Bosses use ailments on your party as part of their strategy and being able to deny them of that can be huge. Also if you're complaining about TP just use Dark Ether for fuck's sake.
There are plenty of enemies that follow strict patterns.

Probably because you can not subclass into Second Sword.
Throw in Lady Luck and Swashbuckling from a Buccaneer and you might deal as much damage as a fist Monk.

Pretty solid, but the battle system kind of devolves into "How can I push all the enemies into one of Aht's traps?"
Pretty shitty, don't listen to anyone else. Graphics looked rushed as fuck and you can tell they ran out of budget halfway through the game
It's definitly interesting.
Story telling has some nice quirks by jumping between parallel timelines and the fighting has puzzle elements as you can shove enemies around on a grid, stack them all up in one spot and then hit them with attacks that usually were only single target. For good combos you also need to manipulate turn order.
