I get booted often and its fine, penalty is just a small drop in PP.
Suffering is when you had a great game, lewding all their senrans, expecting a 260PP haul and you get booted just as the game ends.

There's minimal penalty imo. Long as you did what you can on your end (ideally as stable a land line as possible), just hope for the best 75% of the time shouldn't have a problem.
Its not like PP is worth a damn. The rewards suck and farming isn't found there. There isn't even a matchmaker bracket, you can meet beginners when you're the top on the leaderboard.
Treat rank as instant PVP since free match is totally slow. And Vmode isn't as exciting since you know its not a real player's senran you're having your way with after the curtain is drawn,

Thanks again for the response. Yeah normally it would be 50 pp for just mvp status and another 100 if it's a win. But whatever I get gets cut by 75% because of the penalty. Once I reached 1000 tonight I stopped, but I want to play it again to """remove""" the penalty or bring my points back up if possible.

For hording points, i notice that the winning move is to simply play more. The top on the laderboard offten do not even have 50% win/MVP rate. They simply just repeat.
Treat it as fun and not worry about the points. Its also good to accept that your senran will submit a few times. Sit back and enjoy the lewds. No matter which side wins, so do you!

Just beat the main story. Overall this was a lot more fun than I expected though the games biggest weakness is probably its limited map variety. Also are most of the melee attacks suppose to be shit and how come it feels like they can only be used after a dash because sometimes I'm mashing triangle and the move doesn't want to happen?

Enemy variety was a bigger problem for me, because at least the maps didn't have a million invisible walls like SV and EV.

During the winter in the Crimson City, Hikage gets cold sometimes and cannot go to sleep.
On those nights, Mirai knows that Hikage is having trouble, and goes over to her sleeping bag and gets in to warm Hikage up enough to be comfortable.
When Mirai does this, Hikage rolls on her back and has Mirai lie down on her, and massages her lower back and rubs the back of her neck. This is very soothing and Mirai goes to sleep very quickly. Hikage follows afterwards. Haruka always takes a picture of these moments. Mirai also sometimes drools on Hikage but Hikage is fine with it.
