What do you think about the new Abarth 695 RIVALE special version?

What do you think about the new Abarth 695 RIVALE special version?

It's the Abarth version of the Riva trim for the normal Fiat 500.

I unironically love it.

And that's it.

Thanks FCA marketing :3

>scene open: FCA headquarters, Fiat Division
>there is a large table with a lot of people sitting around it
>a man walks up
>alright guys what should we make next
>silence for 20 minutes as nobody can think of a new idea
>somebody in the back says "another 500?"
>the CEO stares at the person who suggested that
>then suddenly, applause
>it's a hit idea
>but what?
>uhhhh uhhhhhhh give it a two tone paint job and carbon fiber
>brilliant

I wish Fiat would start making more interesting cars. They've been back in the US market for six years now and all they offer are 500 variants and a worse version of the Miata.

>worse version of the miata
>same exact internals
>even turbo trim
>looks subjectively better
I agree with your points about the 500 but the Fiata is better is every way

It's not Fiat, it's the Abarth division.

Probably they started the whole Abarth thing with two models in mind (500 and Punto) but they didn't had further plans for the brand itself, but eventually the Abarth 500 turned out to be a unexpected success, then they made the 124 (only because Alfa Romeo will have an exclusive two seats roadster among with the 4C spider) and now they're stalling without models.

They should make the 500X Abarth. Not a fan of pimped crossovers but that's what the market wants.

Why won't Fiat sell us something that isn't neoretro garbage? The 500 is shit and a 9 year old design now.

The Fiat Panda is like the only actually good thing they've ever made and yet they won't sell them here.

The average American can't fit in a Panda

>9 years old design

You mean timeless design?

maybe so but

>can't design/build their own unique car, have to rely on Mazda and modify that
>modern-vintage styling
>turbo lag defeats the point of the miata chassis using responsive n/a engines

I'm sure as a car it's fine but it just feels so uninspired

>500X Abarth

please no

It's not that they're going to made an exclusive Abarth model, they need to start from a Fiat car as base.

The 500X could be a nice model to boost the sales.

Also

>FCA is expected to add an Abarth 500X in 2017 though whether or not it will do better than the rarely seen Nissan Juke Nismo remains to be seen. The Abarth Punto Supersport, meanwhile, has been quietly discontinued. There will probably be an Abarth Tipo in 2017 and an Abarth Panda in 2018.

Let's hope this is true.

Does the shifter coming out of the front of the vehicle ruin the car for anyone else? I love the abarth but christ it just looks so wrong to me

It looks like it's happy to see you, user

I didn't like it at first but it's actually pretty comfy. Right where it needs to be for hand placement. Also it leaves room between the seats for the emergency brake, which, with how small the car is, probably wouldn't have fit alongside a floor shifted. Also you can't reach it with both armrests down, so there's that too.

Gorgeous little car

I like it but you cant own a Fiat in America out of principal, the same way Yuros cant own Mustangs

>abarth Panda

Can i erect my penis already?
I hope they take the drivetrain from the 4x4 model and put it on a t-jet engine. This car would be so sick
