I have insured a miata and a bmw in the past, I just cant do Corvette tier insurance. A 2 door V8 for a 20 yr old like me is wallet rape. I would only get a V8 coupe if it is cheaper than 10,000 and I will spend the difference on mods and insurance.
If you were curious I was contemplating on getting a 2009-2011 335i but I am afraid of wallet rape due to repairs. I looked at the G37 as well but they are still over priced and its hard to find one in budget with the sports package. Genesis coupes are still overbudget-ish and the 2011+ Ford Mustang V6 didn't win me over.
I will probably just look for a S197 v8 4.6 Mustang and just mod it out so it isn't embarrassingly slow anymore.
Not sure how you feel about subarus but a friend of mine purchased an 05 sti for around 15. Thats probably the closest thing to what you're looking for, but i think they're expensive for what you get, especially at that age.

At around 75k miles you can pick one up for 13-14k depending on the year.
I want to buy one but its hit or miss, I can get a good one that wont need shit until a year down the line or something I have to pour 5k into in 6 months because it breaks so much.
I'm scared to buy one but they are nice and super fast for the price.

A truck... Seriously. You'll need a lot more than $15k to get a quick RWD that isn't somebody's project or drift missile. Also with 0-60 times like that your going to be burning through tires on a regular basis.
Get a slightly used sport bike. 600 if you're new to bikes, 1000 if you're not. Use the left over money to get another bike that's more comfortable as well.

OP Here. this is a good deal, I have 15k and I would have a few extra thousands to put away for repairs or a warranty. Has 71k miles w/ sport package and nav. Seems so comfy and a good deal.
I have owned a BMW before and have a personal BMW mechanic friend so I have experience. I think this is best I can do with money. Tigers crossed, im going in on Friday.
