would you rather have..

you can choose the car/powertrain

1965 Ford F100 with a modern Subaru boxer engine is my dream ride. Am I crazy Veeky Forums?

Depends on the car, really. A classic muscle car with a modernized powertrain would be pretty cool, as would something like a classic 911 with something like a modern GT2 engine for maximum widowmaker-factor.
But I'd also love to have a modern Audi S4 or S5 with all the modern creature comforts that come with it, and the classic Group B inline 5 turbo under the hood.

Can I get a mildly aged car with a slightly old engine instead?

>2JZ-GTE Baja XJ

I'd want an old car with an old engine, but the engine is made using modern materials

I heard that one of the techs I work with and his friends tried to put one of the new ecoboost motors into a Fox but couldn't get the ECU happy about it.

>new car with old engine
Who would ever choose this?

I have one, its stock too.

1994 Ram 1500, the engine is called a "Magnum" but in reality its a chrysler LA from the 60s with fuel injection and different piston heads

2ZZ AW11
or if I'm feeling blasphemous, E C O B O O S T A W 1 1

...

>something like a classic 911 with something like a modern GT2 engine for maximum widowmaker-factor.

I wonder how much it would cost to get someone like singer or BBI to do that.

If money is no object then G body with an ls7.

It would be a nice sleeper to troll ricers.

Sign me up for a '67 mustang fastback with either a v8 from the new GT350 or maybe even an ecoboost from the GT. Maybe supercharge the GT350 motor.

Crazy no, stupid yes.

Model T Ford with a dodge demon engine

1946 Power Wagon with a 24V Cummins swap.

>2017 Ford GT
>Built 351 Windsor

that would be the most uncomfortable ride ever

Restomod or pro-touring ftw. Almost the performance of the modern models with the looks of the old.

Trabant 601 body
Tesla P100D powertrain

1968 charger with an LS motor would be pretty sweet t.b.h

>Motor.

The former
>LS3-swapped Brat here I come

>not wanting an old car with an old engine

>Floor it
>Tires spin out and explode
Or
>Floor it
>Car wheelies so hard it flips over

Oldsmobile. If it isn't leaking it's probably gonna blow up.

1977 Triumph Spitfire
Engine + powertrain from a Honda S2000 because I'm a shitbag

Thats a pontiac
