How do you respond to people who ask you to fill up their gas tank because they need to go to their dying aunt's cancer party 500mi away in the desert?
The problem is I drive a pretty new BMW and they always come up to me and ask me for this shit. It's a fucking X3 and I'm a just a poorfag who got bogpilled into the lease meme but I can't just say that to them
What do? >inb4 grow some testosterone and tell them to fucc off

I've had this issue. If you have the ability to help tell them to pull their car up and you'll fill it up. Under no circumstance should you give cash. This scares 98% of them off.
Jeremiah Murphy
Op pay my internet bill so I can keep replying to you? Thank you
Asher Thomas
Sometimes people come up to you when you're filling your car and ask for money. More likely to happen when you're in certain areas, and also when you're driving a car that looks nicer/more expensive.
Had never happened to me before until recently. Told the guy I needed my cash for tolls (was actually true) because it caught me off guard.
Charles Brown

Mostly you just tell them to Fuck Off. If you wanna be a beta about it you tell them to bring their car up and you'll fill it up for them. Usually they'll give some song and dance about how it's somewhere else though.
James Davis
I drive a 97 chevy k1500 pickup with straight pipes. So I just say, "all my money goes to this gas guzzler, sorry man." Then I peel out and leave. If they ask for a phone I just say. :Mines dead and this old truck doesn't have a charger. Sorry man" >it has two ports, a cigarette lighter and my new stereo has a usb port, bu they don't need to know that.
Sebastian Cruz
It's not like you announce you have cash first, and then people come up and ask for it. The problem is the area and/or your car.
David Morales
Who still carries cash?
I tell them I don't have any cash.
Owen Phillips
Tell them fuck off. It's a yes or no question, and you're not obligated.
Oliver Collins
Lol America has become a nation of beggars and thieves.
I've heard a startling number of people on this board complain about others coming up to them at gas stations and begging for gas money. It's fucked.
You have the second amendment - use it. Kill anyone who asks you for anything at all, the law is on your side.
Nathan Long
Fucking oath mate. Aussie here, i wish we could open carry like you americans.
I also had this problem while driving in the NT, some abos came up to me asking for goon money.
I got right up in their face and told those dirty coons i would give them a fucking taste if they did not piss off, 2 fucked off but the third got uppity.
I planted my rock solid fist into his jaw and cracked it like thunder, slamming his filthy communist ass down to the ground.

They can take the bus. Their problem extends deeper than an empty gas tank if they're expecting you to fill.
If you feel threatened, you might consider not stopping at ghetto gas stations. Particularly the ones with wrought iron bars on the windows.
Eli Barnes
They're Aussies so the answer is yes, they're retarded.
Isn't just gas stations, shopping center parking lots get this a lot too. The one constant ime is that it's niggers though. I also think they do it just to see if they can make whitey feel guilty.
Ayden Anderson
You shouldn't have to suffer the indignity of having someone beg for money from you. The founding fathers foresaw these sorts of problems, and ensured all citizens would be equipped with the means to protect their own quality of life.
Camden Gonzalez
What kinda shit holes you fucks live in where this happens? Asking for a friend.
Camden Myers
I live in canada and this has literally never once happened to me.
If it did happen, I keep extra bus tickets in my wallet because its easier/cheaper than parking downtown is. I would offer them one of those. Fuck giving a stranger money for "gas," I need that money to get drunk or high just like they do.

I had this belief, too, when I was a teenager to upper-middle-class parents. Then I got type-1 diabetes (the rare kind that you just get for no reason, where you go into a coma and die after 5-10 days of no insulin shots) and found that life sucks for some people. Early on in my insulin treatment I got low blood sugar at work one day and got fired from my cushy $20/hr office job as a "safety hazard." Because of the way they fired me I cannot get unemployment and still haven't been approved for disability two years later, even w/ a specialist lawyer. It currently costs around $800/month on an obamacare plan just to get insulin and if obamacare were repealed it would cost 2-4k per month (or more, if things go wrong).
So, Trumpists expect that an 18 y.o. with no or poor parents (not me thankfully) to suddenly manage paying $30+k every year just for medical costs (and that assumes no hospitalizations or complications) for a disease they had no control over getting, which they could be fired for at any time? Mind you, the average per-adult income in the US is $30.2k..
Just imagine being a black person brought up in an impoverished neighborhood in a shitty school where the culture is to make fun of you if you try hard.

He was white looking, though. What compels people to become trash
Joshua Barnes
You didn't get fired for nothing, if you did, you'd have a lawsuit. Don't bullshit me, wrongful termination is a real thing I've been through and if I could win with my bullshit case then you can win for being fired over your illness - unless you're lying and got fired for a good reason
Asher Long

>You didn't get fired for nothing, if you did, you'd have a lawsuit.
I filed a lawsuit with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. I did some research and found that cases taken to trial have an ~8% win rate, cost a lot up front, and take many years to finish. I went to mediation (the defending team brought six lawyers) and got 2 weeks worth of salary; the former EEOC lawyer I spoke with was surprised I got that.
Even though I worked in a cubicle farm they could legally fire me as a safety hazard because it was a full-vehicle assembly plant and my diabetes was not "perfectly controlled" (no one's is).
Christian Rodriguez
Um, don't drive a BMW?
Caleb Harris
They don't really want gas money, it's just a conversation starter. They're hoping it'll lead to you blowing them in the gas station bathroom.
Henry Cooper
That's discriminatory - don't you Americans have some kind of labour laws or human rights code?
Christ, in Canada if you fired someone for having diabetes your whole fucking COMPANY would suffer forfeiture to the government.
Seriously, the company would be forced to find you accommodation in some other way within the company, maybe move you to a back office type job or somewhere you can't physically get hurt.
I worked with a guy at a hardware store, he was a store manager at Home Depot and got fired. Sued HOME DEPOT, and after 13 months, he won. Got 3 years salary ($81,000/year), + some legal costs. All in all he didn't get rich, but he did waste a lot of money and force the company to reform their niggerish practices.
Leo Smith
>don't you Americans have some kind of labour laws or human rights code? We do, but companies have become so powerful here that they hardly even matter. They have the best lawyers around, and nobody can even afford half a decent lawyer to defend themselves. They draw these things out long enough that it exhausts and destroys the defendant until they have nothing left to defend themselves with and they just give up. Our own fucking president does this kind of shit. Basically if you have money, you can get away with anything here.
Hudson Perez
I just say no. No reasons or apologies. If they get pushy I get rude. Why does everyone I see try to make some excuse or apologize when they are asked?
Julian Cook
you were let go because you weren't needed. Companies aren't around to just give your ass a job, they're here to provide a good and/or service in exchange for a profit for the shareholders and investors of said business. Your ass being fired saved them some money. You're so fucking useless that you're not even able to make yourself worth a measly $41,000 a year.
Welcome to America chump, either get to work or get to dying.
Anthony Watson
Just like American vs. Canadian healthcare, the US labour laws are skewed hugely in favour of corporations instead of individuals.
Owen Evans
I typed a whole thing about shell companies, conglomerates, money, and the legal system. I went to delete a typo and pressing backspace took me back a page and I was typing in a pop-up reply.
Let's just say that the legal system in the US is not definitive unless you are poor and a defendant, then the law is followed exactly. Money and obfuscation trumps all in the US legal system.
And yes, the EEOC who I filed with is a federal agency that enforces the Americans with Disabilities Act. They did an investigation and found that discrimination did happen but it's apparently not that simple, especially if you're young and fresh out of college (read: broke) and the company involved is the highest-grossing company in the county.
Christian James
Spot the pimple-faced /pol/tard virgin everyone

If I wasn't needed then why did my boss and the department manager separately write letters to plant management asking to reinstate me?
I was making a MATLAB program, with a GUI, that would take in transmission run data from vehicles leaving the plant and correlate them with the likelihood of in-warranty transmission failure. I am well aware MATLAB was not the right tool for the task, but it's what they wanted.
It was easy as fuck, IMO, but no one else at the plant knew how to write applications.

I've had this happen many times in the skeevy areas of the country, like the city I grew up in. I don't even drive a "nice" car, it's a car normies would completely overlook as some poorfag in an old car and only a niche enthusiast would think I have money for owning it.
Just say no dipshit. It's not hard.
Brandon Sanders
>Early on in my insulin treatment I got low blood sugar at work one day and got fired from my cushy $20/hr office job as a "safety hazard." YOU didn't keep YOUR medical condition in check and YOU became a safety hazard. Who's fault is that? Why should an employer keep such an irresponsible person like you employed?
>Because of the way they fired me I cannot get unemployment Why should you get paid to do nothing because you were irresponsible at your previous job?
>still haven't been approved for disability two years later Why should you get paid to do nothing just because you have a completely controllable and manageable illness that doesn't prevent you from working?
> It currently costs around $800/month on an obamacare plan just to get insulin and if obamacare were repealed it would cost 2-4k per month (or more, if things go wrong). Why should you not have to pay market price for medication just like everyone else? Why should anyone else have to pay for it for you?
>Trumpists expect that an 18 y.o. with no or poor parents (not me thankfully) to suddenly manage paying $30+k every year just for medical costs Fuck Trump. Why shouldn't someone be expected to pay for their own illness? Why is it anyone else's responsibility to fix YOUR problems?
>for a disease they had no control over getting The american tax payer had no control over someone getting diabetes either. Why should they be on the hook for it?
>which they could be fired for at any time? A private business can choose not to employ someone they deem to be a safety hazard or not beneficial to their organization!?! Oh the horror! How dare they choose what to do with their money and their business as the please.
>Just imagine being a black person brought up in an impoverished neighborhood in a shitty school where the culture is to make fun of you if you try hard. How does being black or being impoverished make any of this the burden of american tax payers? Why is it anyone else's problem?
Gavin Carter
I've had a job since the week I turned 16. I worked a bridgeport mill in a factory through a lot of college. I have a science/engineering bachelors and 2 years worth of engineering internships. I was able to live on my own just fine - until I got diabetes.
I'm complaining that the medical industry is holding my life hostage and insurance companies want nothing to do with me just because my immune system decided to attack my pancreas one day. And it's all because of free-market dipshits who've been hooked-up with jobs their whole lives that think they somehow "earned" it.
Pic related - I go through 3 vials of Novolog and 1.5 of Lantus every month. Then consider the $5-10 of test strips daily, and the syringes which many pharmacists refuse to give me even though I'm picking up insulin, and the constant doctor visits to make sure I don't need a foot lobbed-off... shit sucks.
It is only expensive in the US because companies know they can do it - it's many times cheaper (even w/o insurance) in every other country.
I suggest that you grow some fucking balls, user. I doubt you worked in a factory at 17.
Angel Price
why dont you just kys. much cheaper that way and you wont be a burden to your family or taxpayers.
David Perez
user above has a point. The sooner genetic failures like yourself take themselves out of the gene pool the sooner we wont have to deal with illnesses like diabetes.
Sebastian Sullivan
>amerimongrels are actually subhuman enough to deny people basic human rights such as healthcare
Lmao, fucking 3rd worlders.
Benjamin Phillips
These are easy things to say when you don't have it, bro. I take ~50-80 units of insulin each day, and it varies depending on whether my pancreas is rebuilding itself temporarily, my carb intake, my heart rate, my level of stress, the weather outside, and other factors - but I have to guess all of that ahead of time when I take my insulin. If I guess incorrectly by just 2 units I could easily pass out unconscious.
I didn't even pass out at work - I told my boss I was going to the break room to treat a low and a security guy thought that I was 'acting odd' by chugging a regular coke in the break room. That's all it took for me to be a "safety hazard."
I hope you get leukemia and can't afford treatment.
Dominic Cox

Did you see the graphs I posted about the cost of insulin in the US? Insulin is old as fuck and the people who discovered it sold the patent to a university for $1 with stipulation that it would be free to users. It's only expensive so execs who've never learned calculus can give their families $2-mil mcmansions.
Owen Reyes
Don't reply.
William Brown
>These are easy things to say when you don't have it You presume I also don't have a debilitating illness. I do. I require biweekly infusions of Remicade ($7600 per dose plus $12 per infusion at an infusion center. Look it up or anyother biologic) for Crohn's disease. I also take a borderline toxic dose of mercaptopurine daily (which puts me at high risk of lethal hepatosplenic t-cell lymphoma) and have to sit on high doses of prednisone for 12-18 months at a time putting me at extremely high risk for diabetes and osteoporosis.
I also have to severely measure and restrict my diet.
Even with all of that I have to run to the bathroom every 15-30 minutes. More if I'm having a flare up.
I also have severe anemia due to blood loss which puts me at risk of loss of consciousness, and RLS which prevents me from sleeping.
And I still don't think my medical issues are anyone else's problem, nor do I expect anyone else to pay for them. I make my own way financially despite my medical issues and I don't bitch and blame everyone else for my problems.
>I hope you get leukemia and can't afford treatment. No wonder you bitch like a child and expect others to take care of your problems. You are an immature child.

I was diagnosed at 24 while in school. I'm 31 now.
In school I paid for cheap insurance with a part time job which covered part of the cost and got financial assistance from Johnson and Johnson to lower the out of pocket expense.
After school I've gotten better and better jobs (engineering) which provided better and better insurance options and covered incrementally larger monthly out of pocket costs.
My latest job has me part of the International Botherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) which enables me access to high quality 100% paid for medical coverage, life insurance, dental, vision, etc.

I was in Reno a few years ago filling up my rented U-Haul cargo van at a gas station when some kids approached me asking for gas money. I had been awake for about three days at that point and was particularly hungover so my senses were a little bit faded to say the least. When they asked me, a combination of my state of mind and autism resulted in me shouting at them NAW MAN I AINT GOT SHIT ALRIGHT to which they responded "whoah ok bdudy thanks". I think what scared them was I started saying my response before they even finished asking
Jaxon Young
I had insurance before Obamacare and this did not happen.
Untreated severe Crohn's disease is a wasting illness and does cause death due to malnutrition and blood loss. That's if you don't kill yourself on the toilet first.
I'm not missing the point. You claimed something was a "human right" I am asking that you validate this because it surely is not. All you have in response is some tired low intelligence memeing.

You're also forgetting that medication prices in burgerland are inflated by 1000's of percents to line CEOs' pockets because they can get away with it. See martin shkreli. You can get a 100ml vial of insulin in Mexico for $20, here it's $138.
