Level makes zero difference in DaS2. You are only matched based on soul memory, so even if you don't level to max, you'll eventually be fighting people who did.

/dsg/ is legitimately, while not one of the worst generals, still really bad. It is unbelievably gay, infested with Reddit, and it follows the series itself with how the cycle of circlejerks dies and perpetuates itself again - even down to the part where fallen legends from the previous cycle show up in the current cycle. It is full of closeted homosexuals, ERPing aggots, and full-blown idiots. I don't know what kind of "Dark Souls Effect" this series has to attract all of these kinds of people so universally but it does.

Dark souls port was terrible and the pvp was a joke
Dark souls 2 base game wasn't even worth the money
Dark souls 3 was the fallout 4 of the series, an 8/10 but still disappointing in every way

I think this is because Big M finally realized this is the only way to get by with the time and budget Bamco offers.

DeS threads are why I got into the series in the first place. I didn't use a trip until DaS1 though.
