So I got to thinking, and would the game really be harmed if Major Tom's UFO Adventures replaced Bankman in terms of the story?
You could easily twist it so Okumura is the PT's introduction to the masketta man and his relation to the mental shutdowns, and expand Kaneshiro's business to be using Shido to shutdown people when he's done with them.
Makoto would keep her role in the story, and would continue to minorly harass the PTs, and putting Haru in earlier would allow her vegetable growing to actually be of some use.
What do you thing, /pg/? Am i just being too autistic here?

Also, I feel that having Kaneshiro be the one the PTs 'kill' would provide some nice moral conflict.

I think it'd work well. That way Makoto's story presence through her ties to Sae wouldn't be so overwhelming since it wouldn't be combined with her party member involvement, and she'd still get enough attention that her late joining wouldn't make her feel as uninteresting/rushed as Haru.

P5 still turned out amazingly well considering how terrible the development process was, though, so I can't really complain.
