28 years old $1700 a year my zip code is pretty rural

I WROTE THIS 'CAUSE I'M GAY LADS

I started using Metromile and I already saved like $12 on my bill after a month. Helps that I have a 4-day work week and only commute 0-3 days of the week, though. Otherwise it'd probably be even.

Also heard bad stories about filing claims with them and their parent company, so hopefully I save enough money to get myself through that sort of horse shit.

Same, it's good stuff mate.

Wew, people like you are an enigma.

That's not very economical. That's financial rape for an 11 year old car.

Everyone goes cheap on insurance until they've had a claim. Some dumb broad crashed into me after only two years of owning my first car - and totaled it. My insurance company was great to deal with, and even credited me about $2,000 extra for repairs/parts I'd installed over the previous 18 months.

That's why I'm still with them, even though I could go fully Jewish and save $8/month with another company.

Definitely Ontario..

I drive RHD STI... $184/Month, Facility Association.

yeah Ontario, rural Ontario at that, and I took driving lessons to lower it by $50/mo

but still, I'm under 25 and only got my license in February so I guess that's why. I got a quote on an old Miata since I'm considering trading in the Mini for one and my insurance would be half the cost in a Miata.

Good luck finding a non-ruined Miata.

Hope you're willing to buy a US car and import it.

I'll just make it one of those edgy no fucks given cars with a stickerbombed quarter panel and a coat of spraypaint

That won't fix the entirely rotted everything underneath the car... Mazda's already rust like cancer, a Miata is gonna be even worse because it's older.

I did, and ~$55 quoted from AAA was the best deal. Everything else was around $70. Now I'm paying $70+ anyway

2014 K1500

I just got through finishing up a claim with them. Not-at-fault accident all the way back on June 19th. They refused to tow the car for 9 days for whatever reason, during which it just sat on the side of the road and was repeatedly broken into. I lost my radiator, belts, and headrests and had my window shattered.

After all that they BARELY offered the cheapest market value they could pull.

To any anons considering them, you would be better off paying $350 a month for peace of mind.
