GMC Sierra Speakers

I need the absolute best Automotive Speakers for my GMC Sierra.

It has two 6-1/2" speakers in the front and two 4x6" speakers in the rear.

I have $1000 I can spend. I want the best of the best for my price range. Any ideas?

>doesn't know Veeky Forums knows dick about car audio
i would go with alpine or pioneer, but that will cost u nowhere near $1k
maybe spend the extra on a good HU and amp
i would ask /g/ for advice as well

>be me
>asked about cheap head units,
>best suggestion was 15 y/o used Alpine
>still didn't meet criteria
t. found a BOSS 4x50W for $23

>Post that doesn't know dick about car audio

For 1000 dollars drop 500 on 4 Focal, Hertz, or if you want to save some money Infinity or CT Sounds, and then amplify them with a 400-500 watt 4-channel amp.

Get Alpine type Rs all around with an amp and subwoofer(s) to match.

Go to the Crutchfield website and use their selector tool to find the speakers that fit into the existing speaker mounts in your car.

Kenwood's 900.5 5 channel amp is killer. Focal's have been on sale on Crutchfield for a while now, I picked up PS130v's for half price.

Those 4x50 headunits never actually put out 50w max though, and the rms is much lower.

OP, I havnt fucked with the car audio scene in years and Veeky Forumss not the best place to ask, but for 1k you can for sure get a 4 channel amp, type R speakers, and a decent headunit.

If you like bass, a 4 channel can also power the two front speakers, leave the back speakers unamplified, and bridge the other 2 channels to run one or two 10" sub(s) in the back. Depends on what you are looking for, just do some research

>2 10's off of what is gonna be 100-200rms at best

What the fuck are you on about?

>got a full set of kickers for my 4D frontier for about $110
>picked up a 10-inch sub+enclosure combo for $150
>thumps harder than my cousin's 12-inch

Keep it stock faggot. Find other shit to waste your money on.

Don't just get good speakers, get a good 4-way class AB amp.

Class D>>>Class AB

>HEY GUYS THESE 8 INCH SUBS I GOT THEY POUND SO HARD YEAH THEY HIT HARDER THAN MY BUDDY JEROME'S 4 12S HIT ME UP

Shut the fuck up, mongloid.

Just use earbuds, it is like direct injection for yourhead.

Class D is fine for a sub with its lower power drain, AB is far better when it comes to sound.

...

>implying i'm a nigger
>implying it isn't funny as fuck to watch your rear view mirror rattle because of a single speaker

If I was a nigger, I'd probably be driving a Chevy.

>GMC Sierra

Stopped reading right there, I bet you're that faggot with the crew cab.

Lmao, why do amerilards buy such shitty trucks when they could buy a Tundra that could outlast their livelihood? fucking stupid.

>If I was a nigger, I'd probably be driving a Chevy.
Same thing retard, only thing is that GMC is more nigger tier than a Chevy with the tacky ass chrome everywhere.

>the frontier is a gmc truck

Did you by chance actually read the chain of posts? Do you understand the concept of "context"?

>Not reading what said. (sorry no (You))

Do you by chance have reading comprehension?

for the best sound it would be wise to get a 4 channel amp and some new speakers
throwing in a couple sets of $400 speakers will sound nice but sending them the crappy power from a stock stereo will limit them, like putting crappy gas in a performance engine
about $200 for a 4 channel Rockford Fosgate Amp
Spend the rest on speakers, if you can find them grab some Focal or Hertz for top tier or if you want to save a little cash check out Fosgate or any other decent name brand

>BOSS
in to the trash it goes.jpg

he's not wrong though, a decent sub in a well built box in the cab of a pickup truck on 200 watts would sound nice
sure it won't break any spl records but it'll work

Seconding this. Type Rs give you pretty good sound for the price. I'm run everything Alpine in my shitbox, but then again I've always been an Alpine fanboy.

>hurrdurrBASS
More like hardbass amirite?

>I need the absolute best Automotive Speakers for my GMC Sierra.
Go to the Crutchfield website. Look up the types of speakers that will fit. These speakers give you a performance and price description baseline to compare others to. Go to your local car audio shop. Major cities have these shops all over the place. Make your comparison choices based upon test listening.

>Make your comparison choices based upon test listening
>from a soundboard
You're an idiot, the only way you can get a realistic idea of how speakers sound in a car is to listen to ones INSTALLED IN A CAR
