Did you get rods for stainless steel? You need at least 308 & 309 to start with. Also if you plan to weld something thin like 1.6mm you should get 1mm or 1.2mm rods. Makes it a lot easier
to weld and to control heat input.

All I got so far is 0.045, 1/16, and 3/32 er70s2, 5356 1/16 and some 1/16 silicon bronze.
Still need to pick up some 308, 309 and 4043 rods.
Gonna go pick up a 200cuft K size argon cylinder tomorrow, only have a tank of 75/25 right now and that won't cut it.

Motorcycle gas tanks, body panels, exhaust systems and a thousand other things.
The mig is nice for point and shoot at 1/4 in steel plate but the tig is where it's at when it comes to pretty much anything else.
What I mostly bought the machine for is to weld up turbo exhaust and intake sections, (aluminum and stainless, maybe some titanium as well since I can now)
