Yeeaahh, baby!
They were, of course, a complete joke back in the day being so close to the Muscle Era but in modern traffic they really stand out. The styling is all anger and aggression and gives the general impression of a shark in a school of fat fish.
>Obscure
>a Lincoln Continental

Isn't that nice? Run along and go play now
What was this thing, an Isuzu I-mark? an Opel Kadett? Holden Gemini? Bedford Chevanne? Pontiac T-1000? Buick Opel? Daewoo Maepsy? Grumett Colour?

>auto-only
>V6-only
what the fuck were they EVEN thinking. more importantly why didn't they drop the North Star in here? that engine wasn't in enough RWD cars and i know the north star isn't a particularly well liked engine but it was supposed to be a luxury engine under the Cadillac brand and what better way to show off the engine than to stop bottlenecking it by sticking it in FWD cars who's transmissions couldn't handle the full power.
All eagles are best eagle.
Not exactly obscure, but I'd give my left nut for a '68 Series 75
Because the Northstar was a pile of rat shit.
t. Caddie owner
...
What about the V6 Shortstar from the Intrigue?
...
Used to own one like this, still wish I had it
This actually looks kinda cool, what is it?
Chrysler TC (by Maserati)
It's a Chrysler/Maserati TC. Basically just a joint venture between the two companies.
Oh wow, i'll probably never seen any in Australia but sounds like an interesting piece of automotive history. Was it as unreliable as any other Maserati?
It was more Chrysler than Maserati, so yes.
It worked in the Series 1 Shelby.
It was only made for a year, so there aren't very many available even in the US. It's not a particularly outstanding specimen by any means.
It's a Dodge Ram SS/T
You mean a heavily modified engine based on the same platform. The original Northstar was downright awful when it came to gasket failure. It was also a nightmare to work on.
It was a LeBaron with a Maserati badge (read: total piece of shite)

Nothing says luxury like a rebadged cavalier.
Probably the most reliable malaise Cadillac ever made though when you think about it.
That's like saying "Best testicle to have cut off."
Maybe, but how much is that really saying?
I doubt the guy who pitched the idea would really like that trophy on his shelf.
They make me aroused in a odd way.
Thats a rebadged Buick Century desu...
Nope, look again.
It wasn't unusual back then for Dad to buy a car like that, and then move my Mom, brother and I into the extra space under that hood...roomy but I still had to share with my dorky little brother...
My Dad had both...it's a rebadged Century...
>As a rebadged variant of General Motors' J-cars, the Cimarron was manufactured alongside the Chevrolet Cavalier, Buick Skyhawk, Oldsmobile Firenza, and Pontiac J2000/2000/Sunbird at GM's South Gate Assembly and Janesville Assembly plants.
Shut up.
