God, is the Shrine of Amana a massive piece of shit.

Easy or no, that area is the only area in Dark Souls which gets on my nerves. Even Blighttown which forced you to move slow and steady could be fun. This is just aggravating. Every single part of the level is the same three threats - Bullet Hell shooter, hammer-blocking Archdrakes and pitfalls. No variation, no depth, just the same copypasted bullshit over an admittedly beautiful environment that gets wasted. To top it off this torment is endured to be rewarded by one of the most pathetic boss fights of all of Soulsborne.

I've done this area with every type of character, pure melee of all sorts, Robin Hood, magic mike, miracle worker. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes hard, but in never stops being bad.

You can't summon Pale Shade of Londor and Anri at the same time. To get the Pale you had to tie the knot with Anri already, or at least get the bride all ready for her big day

No I just played a shit ton of Dark Souls III, and every time I go for the Emperor of Londor ending Anri-girl isn't there for summoning even doe I make a point of making all NPC quests

the animation is there sorta, and you don't hear the baby screams during the second phase.

Dark Souls 3 map design is as good as Dark Souls 1 or better, only world interconnectivity is worse (like how the areas connect to each other, but each area's design is really good). Irithyl Dungeon is my favorite. And the complaints about multiple bonfire are silly, most of them are caused by the boss bonfire mechanic which doesn't hurt the level design in any way, and the others because they each have a sub area revolving around them.

Almost no-one is in the WoB which means Blue Sentinels don't have much to do, especially in Dark Souls III when there isn't any Blue Eye Orbs
