WE LIVE

What did people get for participating in the closed Beta?

Kegs, borders, titles, and premium geralt.

One copy of premium Geralt, free copy of witcher 2, and some amount of kegs depending on their level and rank in the closed beta (plus any they bought)

closed beta participants get a copy of witcher and a keg if I'm remember correctly

>titles
I read this as titties. hell I need to find myself a qt3.14 gf

Eredin

>YOUR CONTINUED EXISTENCE WILL CEASE, INVERTEBRATE

>some amount of kegs depending on their level and rank in the closed beta (plus any they bought)
Does that mean with Real Money or with Ore? Since if it's Ore they're essentially F2P with a massive leg up on any newer players.

No no, any real money kegs, plus the rewards for levelling up and ranked. Ore earned doesn't count for anything.

>Vicavaro Novice will probably be nerfed to not be pulled by Emissary's trigger
How much will this decrease our powerlevel, Nilfgaardians?

Isn't Millfgaard one of the weaker NG decks?

level 6 here
at what point does wild riders deck stop being good because im winning like 65% of my games

>I can't kill any of his bronze cards with my rotting cow
>he steals my rot tosser and my bronze cards die because of the cow
awesome game you got there

>go out of my way to strategically make a trio
>lol igni
>go out of my way to strategically make a trio
>lol igni
>go out of my way to strategically make a trio
>lol igni
>go out of my way to strategically make a trio
>lol igni
>go out of my way to strategically make a trio
>lol igni
>go out of my way to strategically make a trio
>lol igni

why do trios even exist when igni exists. surely the developers know how retarded Igni is so why do the developers continue to make trio cards?

you have to go out of your way to play 3 cards so the opponent can play ONE to beat it?

at least other card games have counters to spell cards. there's no fucking magic jammer or Jinzo in this turd of a game

What the fuck are you talking about?

I'm tempted in purchasing a couple backs to boost the shitty starter deck for wins in ranked. Is it worthwhile to do so because I feel like once open beta ends the game's going to be reset leaving me with nothing

>I feel like once open beta ends the game's going to be reset leaving me with nothing
There isn't going to be a reset on release and even if there was you would get all the kegs you got back to reopen them. If you want to buy kegs there's no reason not to.

Once you unlock ranked is there any reason to play casual match anymore?
Basically should i read into ranked with a shitty basic deck or wait

less chance of tryhard decks in casual depending on your rank

if you are low enough ranked would be easier than casual, this was my experience during the closed beta at least

Why is Wild boar necessary for the kitty skellige deck? I don't undestand the synergy, can someone cure my autism?

>trio bonus now takes effect regardless of what row the cards are in

there i just fixed the game

its not necessary at all

it increases morkvarg and oligerd base str

the longer round 1 lasts the less likely your opponent can stop them later

it can also enable brokvar hunters base str increase for later

Give me one (1) reason you're not discarding super hot babes right now

i have no good skellige cards outside of morkvarg

Because I'm busy conquering the north
Your puny islands are next

Just got pic related. I am running a Wild hunt Deck. I need 200 more scraps to make Caranthir.
Should I mill pic related, triss, or geralt to get Caranthir?

do you have both normal and premium Geralt?

If you own premium geralt you should mill the non-premium one

find flaw

SHE WORE BLUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEE VELVET

:^)

Are you the user that always posts the Twin Peaks webm?

>3 first lights

wee woo wee woo retard detected

>I need 200 more scraps
just be patient and play another day
woodland is a good card and when I want to play it one day, you have to craft it

Maybe

Cool.

i lost to this retarded shit once

Looks fun, might try when NG nerf hits live servers.
What is your gameplan vs a mirror though? You basically both have dead cards.

Wait a day, or mill standard geralt if you got the Premium from CB

No gold weather

Would Trio being non-same row specific be too good? I don't know how Trolololo would work in that regard and Scorch is still a blowout.

Can someone give me a quick rundown on the factions and compare them with Magic colors playstyle wise? Looking to get into this game because it seems less rng infested compared to other PC card games

You build your deck around your Leader's meme. Each of the factions has three potential leaders, so it's hard to pin down each faction generally.

Skellige, for instance, enjoys discard effects and direct damage. Things like discarding certain units, and repeatedly reviving them for value every round allow you to gain card advantage.

Northern Realm plays with armor mechanics, etc. It should be pretty obvious if you just read the leaders and then look at the cards.

>NR
Focuses unit synergy through trios, armor and siege engines
>Skellige
Revive, self-harm and discard to make your cards better
>ST
Ambuches, Special cards, Resillient dwarves and mulligan
>Nilfguard
Spying, revealing cards, and being over the top Holy Roman/Third Reich war criminals
>Monsters
Weather controll, consuming your own units to pass them over to the next round, wild hunt roleplaying

NR: White
Skellige: Dimir
ST: Gruul
Nilfgaard: Orzhov
Monsters: Red

Which should I take?

Oc if you play Skellige, Nilf if you play anything else.

New player here, anyone got any decent beginner decks?
Wish I was able to play the closed betas but I didn't notice my invites went into my spam folder.

Why is it good in skellige? What decks run it?

he still plays in the closed beta
thats why he would pick it for skelliger

no Igni, no Scorch

I presume there's some meta-worthy wounding deck that might be able to use it.

nothing big, just the best deck in the game that warps the balance so hard you only meet it plus counters to it in the ladder

I'm still fighting monster/weather cancer in the low brackets, so it's whatever.

>meta-worthy
>wounding deck
Sure it's the second best deck of the format, number one of course being the dreaded ambush deck

In the kitty skellige deck, am I supposed to buff the kitty or the headless fuck all the time? Or both? which one should be on which side of the boat

what the fuck are you even talking about you idiot

they are roleplaying now because i said that they're still playing in the closed beta user

sure feels like reddit humor in here

Weather (Monster) deck probably has the best winrate at low levels. You'll catch quite a few other new players who haven't reached the point that they can deal with the weather spam yet. The downside is that you're playing cancer and no one will GG you justifiably. Maybe try the dwarf/buff deck instead, although if you don't have the silvers it won't be as effective as it can be. At least you'll feel like you actually won afterwards and won't be contributing to the cancer.

morkvarg respawns instantly while oligerd does not
morkvard is first in line to be summoned by crach and ADC
what do you think?

neither should be on the right unless you have a brokvar hunter

>The downside is that you're playing cancer and no one will GG you justifiably
i only play weather and get GG's constantly

i do not have gold weather so that may be related to it

Yeah I get that if I have no hunter none should be on the right. However, if I have a hunter, who should be on the right?

I'd assume the kitty is the one getting buffed since it's almost impossible to remove him unless there's a lock.

Is Memesguard so prolific that everyone builds against it out of principle?

I haven't fucking played a deck that isn't running graveyard control in the past 10 matches. Never thought I want to play against the Elves.

Is there a way to find last card that you received?
Got one as random daily reward and skipped too quickly

>However, if I have a hunter, who should be on the right?
anything with good str

bears from roar are decent since you can heal them up later with the armorsmith

morkvarg will respawn on the far right if he dies so keep that in mind

try sorting the collection by new

not much else you can do i believe

Funnily enough it's the elves and dwarfs the fuck me the most as QG. Everything else ranges from favorable to landslide.

I've yet to lose against the Elves. It's the fucking monsters and Vicaro medic spam that gets me every time. Bears aren't enough to make them fuck off because there's so much removal.

can only sort by default, alphabetical, power and rarity
it was probably bronze anyway

sort by new then in ownership section

Finally opened a legendary, which way should I go lads?

yen, because of waifu

Best girl Yen.

Is she a good card?

Should say, I'm getting into dwarves. Is Iorveth any good in a dwarf deck?

It's a power thing, Dwarfs has significantly more overall power compared to pretty much any other deck in the meta meaning that unless you can significantly out card advantage them you don't stand a chance and even then it's not a guarantee since most of their power carries over.

Also the higher the ranks I climb the less vicovaro I see people running in their NG decks. Even if they run 3 it's not an issue except for the turns they start playing first and your grave is loaded. NR is a joke in every way possible, the mirror match is a mirror match, Morg is about even but I think QG has the edge and monsters are a joke as well.

>play against weather
>run 3 clear skies
>none in hand after mulligan

You win this game I guess

Not as she used to be in CB, due to board swarm decks becoming less prominent. But among those 3 yes.

If I recall correctly the unicorn buffs your units in a row by 2 and the chironex does -2, so she's a decent support card with some utility.

I'm not well versed in dwarf decks but from my limited knowledge Yen could theoretically buff a lot of your dorfs. Not sure how Iorveth would fit in.

Not really.

The challenge AI has an MMR apparently

>reveal 2 cards in opponent's hand
>both are first light
>he uses both for rallies
>mfw dropping RNR in round 3

4 matches in a row against the SK deck.

All using Morkvarg, the broken hunters and RNR

CDPR fix when?

I mean, some cards are literally broken, they are missing the right tags.

yeah, invu potion fix will make dwarfs better
regressing tag on sk clan hunter will mke them worse
nenneke fix will finally show us true power of nr

remind me, what do the broken hunters do?

I don't have the slightest idea

Is Yarpen Zigrin mandatory in a dwarf deck?

>mandatory
No, but he is really fucking good

Yes. It's in fact the first silver you're going to need
Yarpen > Dennis > Barclay

how are the hunters broken?

Is anything mandatory? I have 400 scraps, and I have Barclay and Dennis already.

Also if my only legendaries are Geralt, Triss, Yen ( ), the summon gold special, and the basic faction legendaries, which should I put in my dwarf deck? Is saethensessis worth running?

>yeah, invu potion fix will make dwarfs better
Sadly.
Dwarfs need a rework.
You can't have resilient units with that high base strength.
And buffing them with base strength (For fuck's sake, it was buffing in the CB) with an 8 points card...
Just ridiculous.
>regressing tag on sk clan hunter will mke them worse
They are broken right now.
The longships have the regressive tag. I'm 100% sure they fucked up and forgot to add it to the hunters.
> nenneke fix will finally show us true power of nr

What's Nenenke's problem?
Doesn't she shuffle cards back to your deck?

Also, Hjalmar, Tibor and Letho should Strengthen not Buff.
I feel they'll change that too.
They gain base strength every time a card near them is damaged.
Combined with the wild boar or longhips you can get +16 point cards + 3 damage that can be resurrected.
Pretty much, yeah.
He is ridiculously powerful too.
Damn, even in a non-dwarf deck he would be worth it.
Base 7 + resilience + ability to buff every time a dwarf appears.

>What's Nenenke's problem?
>Doesn't she shuffle cards back to your deck?
she softlogs the game for you during mulligan

yen?

Suggestions/improvements on this millfgard deck?
Do I get away with having 26 cards, considering the exceptional milling capabilities?

Always bet on Yen.

Vattier is the best reveal card, Iorveth looks too gimmicky and Yen is great if you play against decks that play a lot of units

Good cancer right there.

Yes, NG can use more than 25. I've seen up to 28 cards, since the emissaries and vicos are going to pull out all your bronzes.

>he thinks NG will be nerfed
