Maybe, but exploding shafts can happen during normal riding.

With older bikes the shaft pushes the rear up a bit, so I assume on those it does put strain on them

Anyone know if $3500 too much for a 2002 fireblade? It has 19000 miles, in extremely good condition. Guy selling is the original owner, has every stock part that he replaced over the years, new tires, brakes, chain and battery. Has original manual and spare keys. Online values I found vary wildly, from $2500 to almost $5000, so I'm not sure where $3500 stands.

As far as Supersports go I think it's one of the tallest, I fit on it well enough, my knees are bent pretty far but the seat is big enough I can move around a little and with the slightly raised clip ons I have my back is almost straight.
