Partied too hard at the track a few weekends ago.

lul

but it's okay now.

>not rebuilding the original engine

God I hate boxer engines

Not worth my time when I could (and did) upgrade
My fault. Oil temps through the roof on track doing killmode laps on a 20 year old engine. Barely started knocking. Prolly coulda changed oil and put 50w in it and sent it.

Keep living the dream homeslice

Good to see that you still have the RSTi. I don't think I've seen you post here in a couple years.

Post sister

But it's not even the correct engine.

have you learned to stay away from trees yet?

Heeeel yeah
So? The correct engine for the car is a 160hp ball of turds.
I mean obviously

POST SISTER

POST YOUR SISTER YOU FUCKING MANLET

welcome back faggot

nice car

I thought boxer engines were supposed to be flat?? Why is that so tall? It's basically LS height.

who told you that?

protip dont listen to the internet, learn for yourself.

heres a 911 engine and a 350 chevy.
yes the 350 is smaller and lighter.

nice work

thisThe packaging is nice though compared to similar engines (4 clyn turbo).

The weight is also concentrated lower, but not to a point where it matters imo

...

What about resale?

and there was a bigger one, the 935 engine.
its big. very big. about the size of a old school 35" tube tv

Are you fucking kidding me?

girl, i've ripped the roof off this car.. you think I give a flock about resale?

...

y tho?

entire cooling system of the 350 is missing - on the 911 it's on.

lmao what? that's like worrying about the resale value of a late 90's base model civic

if anything, the engine swap would increase the value of this car

getting rid of a sun roof and fixing other problems.
this

so what? the 911 is missing the huge exhaust manifolds.

No it's not. A bunch of shrouds and ducts are missing.

The water pump is there.

What model of Subaru is it anyway?

98 Impreza

6 speed?

V4 STi 5 speed.

Now a V8 STi EJ207

why not a 6 swap?

>going through that much trouble for a sunroof delet
>will wreck the car anyway, guaranteed

heh

What? The manifolds (and the rest of the exhaust for system for that matter) is missing from the 350 as well.

Exhaust on one side is the real exhaust and the other is for the bypass valve and, what is that other thing, a little 2nd turbo? That's cool as heck.

I like this gearing a lot better, plus it was paired with the V4 STi engine I put in 6 years ago.

no bypass valves there, but just external wastegates for the exhaust pipes going into the turbos.

Do they chop the transmission in half when they do that, or is it hanging out the back still?

it would take far more effort to chop a transmission in half than it would be to move the cutting back a foot.

>plus it was paired with the V4 STi engine I put in 6 years ago

Pretty sure I remember you posting when the front cut got dropped off at your house but I had no idea that it was 6 years ago. For some reason this makes me feel old.

This.
And only this.

Nobody cares about your car. Post sister.
