Otherwise they're pretty similar in cost, if you ignore total shit-heaps.
You can get a Suzuki Capp or a Honda Beat for just under 5k delivered in pretty reasonable shape.
You can get an NA Miat in good shape for 3-5k depending on location, season, and your level of patience.
Really really cheap miats (1-3k) are getting much harder to find and they're showing up in much worse condition.
