They teach you track racing and rules if you've never been to a track before and some neat car tricks, and some autocross. I knew none of this shit so it was a good experience for me. You also get some neat black st badges.

I had the base model one as a rental. Pretty peppy little car and yes, they are apparently easy to beef up. A Trifecta canned tune gets that little 1.4t close to 200hp.

I don't really know anything about racing. My friend has been teaching be different shifting techniques. I have pretty much mastered rev matching. Will the st octane teach me shifting as well?

It's a small class, i'd say maybe about 15 people?
Classroom time is about 45 mins to an hour just to have introductions and to give an overview of what you will be doing that day. The rest of your time will be driving or waiting to drive( dont worry you get a decent amount of wheel time in)

Got a new FoST last august, went to the academy this august.
I had a shit ton of fun on the track and learned a decent amount too. I don't know if i'd pay for the class outright, but for free its hard to pass up.
I drank more water than i ever had in my life though. It gets hot as shit on the track in august.

I love the fiesta life, intercooler and tune soon, did the res delete, RMM and cobb intake, sounds great.

The hot hatch died back in 00's. I mean how the hell can you call something that comes out of the factory at over 1000kg and is big as fuck a hatchback.

Do they not come with intercoolers? Or are you switching to a larger front mount?

Thinking of getting one for my FoST.

It's probably the most needed mod, it makes shifting feel much more solid and it doesn't move around when you're full throttle 1-2 shift. And if you plan on doing any power mods it's pretty much mandatory.
