HOW CAN BURGERFATS EVEN COMPETE??

HOW CAN BURGERFATS EVEN COMPETE??

is this the mustang gt competitor or the ford gt competitor?

For the price of two Twingos you get a nice Mustang in Burgerland.

>falseflag thread

Friendly reminder that this thing is unironically mid engine rwd.

To be honest, why would we even want to?

That's deep man.

Cute I love euro kei sized cars

Fucking hell. Most riding mowers here have almost the same displacement.

im to lazy to check, how much is 14 eurofag dollars to american dollars?

cool slug mobile

Its another shitty French car, watch it break down within a year

they don't they have pay a special tax for high performance cars like this

Um. I'm not sure how to explain this.
So bare with me...

My pickup truck.
Weighs 6 thousand pounds
And can also go from 0 to 62mph in under 10 seconds.

This car would go in the bed of my truck.

this tbqh. the twingo is basically a super car.

ZERO TO SIXTY-TWO IN - WAIT FOR IT...

9.6 SECONDS WEEEEW
I'd still buy one tho

SO MUCH PERFORMANCE FOR SO LITLLE MONEY???
H O W ?!?!?!!!

>no twingo in the US

It's not kei sized. Kei cars wouldn't pass crash safety in the western world.

For Americans a Twingo is useless. The price gap between europe and america is huge. In America you can buy a Mustang V8 for 30k, in my country it costs over 100k. While a Twingo costs about 10k
In europe they tax big cars and engines, in America i've heard they tax small cars.

>in America i've heard they tax small cars.

Wait what? Do they tax cars over how much fat they have to lose to get in or something?

Rear engine RWD*, it's basically a baby 911

You're taking it the wrong way arround.
Sure it's hard to import a kei car because of that but on the opposite direction, some foreign cars can be classified as kei-car thanks to their size.
Pic very much related. The Caterham with the smallest engine has the dimension and power requirement to be considered a kei-car.
The current Twingo is 10 cm too long and 20 cm too wide away from being a kei-car.

I'm not sure, it's something about chicken tax, and they always buy the bigger trucks because they cost less than smaller pick ups
let the burgerlands explain.

Afaik the chicken tax only applies to small pickups for some reason, also it only applies to the ones built outside the US.

I'm sure this is fun and all, but don't you guys think it's a little too dangerous? Nobody NEEDS to hit 100kph in under 10 seconds, trying to maintain control with all this power is just asking for trouble.

>10s
>this is a quick car in communist europe

WHY CAN'T WE HAVE NICE THINGS

>Solid rear axle
>Rear engine
>40/60 weight distribution
And some people thought the MR2 had snap oversteer.

>french car
>representative for the rest of europe
My 20 year old german 1.6L sohc shitbox is the slowest trim at 11s. It's considered painfully slow. The dohc version of the engine gets a sub 10 time even though that was a poorfag trim too.

Don't forget turbocharged.

But don't worry, it has ultra-invasive traction- and stability control that you can't turn off unless you pull the fuse and turn off the ABS too :^)

>0-60 in less than 10 seconds
oh god its a piece of shit

low volume cars like those don't even have to meet crash test standards do they?

>898cc
what the fuck

I don't think the EU even has binding crash standards like the US does. Manufacturers can just say "yeah I'll take the zero stars and sell it like that".

The Euro NCAP does not dictate whether or not a car can be put on the market. It's not only voluntary but also just informative in nature.

>.9l engine
That time is pretty impressive desu

the 0.9 twinair in the Fiat 500 also does 10 seconds, seems to be the normal time for 0.9l engines

>10 second 0-60 is a performance benchmark in greater yuropooria

Reaching 60 is a benchmark in yuropoor

i think the average age you can reach there is higher than 60 why should it be a benchmark

Cars get a gas guzzler tax if they’re too far below the CAFE standards too far. You’d gave to get about 21mpg though so the Twingo is safe.

>RR
>solid rear axle

Sage

>when 0-60 under 10 is something to boast about for your model
>meanwhile an Escort was doing 0-60 MPH in 8.9 in 1970

>0-62 in 898cc
oh ok nice

pretty good renault

however

I will be swapping out the 898cc tce with a spare F4R I have lying around

>"people" actually drive cars slower than 0-60 in 5 seconds

A Harley has twice the displacement and would smoke that thing.

>comparing cars to bikes

This is the worst fucking meme ever created
