5 or even 4 swords if you can get 2 harps/sausages, depends on your tastes.
Even on SL10, 5 yugu swords are enough. Is not even about "optimal grid" here, comparing a dirt grid to light and dark is cruel though. The time you get a full Yugu grid you will be still half on dark (if you are lucky) and just 1 or 2 swords on light (if you are VERY lucky).
