Agreed. Like I said, if you can maintain a 90% win rate randoming every game, it definitely shows the impact one single player can have based on skill alone. It's even harder in my opinion to win low mmr games with garbage laning ricing carries like morph/am etc. If you are a good farmer, you get the gpm to carry with almost any hero while also crushing the lanes and securing farm for at least one other hero on your team while mitigating that of your opponent.

How has the lack of a ranking system not killed this game?

And rankings weren't that common in multiplayer games back then.

Why doesn't Dendi move to the offlane like S4 did?
His playstyle is a ganking mid. He tries to win lane, get level advantage and then starts to constantly ganking to apply pressure on the other team.
Too bad Dendi doesn't win lane that hard anymore. He might deny better than the other laner but mid nowadays, mid is the second carry and sometimes the position 1 carry like how Liquid play around Miracle-. Every mid matchup is 2v2. If mid laner loses, the mid player will try to recover by farming in jungle. Dendi cannot compete at mid against the likes of Sumail, Miracle-, Sccc, w33. Even most tier 2 mids nowadays kick Dendi's ass. S4 said himself that his playstyle is no longer good for mid anymore so he goes to the offlane.
Or at least Dendi should try a more carry-oriented, more heavy farming playstyle.
I know Dendi sells t-shirts but he is pretty much a meme now. Not sure how Navi can even make money from Dendi?

Lol. He has nothing left now. Dendi playing mid is the reason why Navi never improves.
If Dendi wants to play the the playmaking guy while still having farm then he should play a sacrificial safe lane role. Like how S4 used to play QoP and Storm in the safelane during Secret 2.0 while RTZ is the true position 1 at mid. Even NoTI/NoBrain can play position 2 safelane carry.

I'm EU and I do love Artour. I just don' think he's gonna achieve anything in EG. He needs to be the star of the team. His best days were on Secret when he was the true pos 1.

I'm sure joining OG could bring the best of him because n0tail can sacrifice himself to be a playmaker, and has the hero pool/experience to play safelane or mid just like Artour. Building the team around rtz instead of Ana could lead OG to success.
