You're probably right.
In other news, my first time actually playing Undertale for myself was the last few days. I bought it off steam with money I'm not actually supposed to use.
I want to get the PS4 Collector's Edition, if it's still available, but if I do it won't ship till December, so at least I have the steam version till then.
Playing the game for the first time while already knowing everything is an interesting experience.
First I did a Neutral run with the intent of actually being neutral. I didn't do any date scenario, and I was trying to have the mindset of not just automatically sparing everyone the right way. Running away or Fighting were things I did. Aside from that first thing with killing Toriel then resetting, I didn't really kill anyone except for ONE person. In the CORE, I killed Madjick BY ACCIDENT, and that one kill shot me up from LV 1 to LV 5, and when I saw Sans' judgement, he basically said that I must have killed some people on purpose.
I was intending on killing Mettaton, because I was thinking that would make the most sense since Frisk/Chara wouldn't have any reason to know that he's an actual living person. But during that fight, my attempts at murder by attacking him only made the ratings go THROUGH THE ROOF and the battle was over with him alive and doing that audience call thing.
I'm currently on the Pacifist run, and Mettaton's fight was a lot harder somehow. I actually died a few times. But anyways, I spent a lot of time at the Tem Shop farming money, in both routes. Neutral, was just to get enough money to by Justice's items. Pacifist, was to get that AND the Mystery Key AND send Temmie to college.
After fighting MTT, I went up to New Home, got the key to Sans' room and stuff, then I went to do the Alphys' Date. I went into Sans' room after getting the letter, and I went into Mettaton's house right after the Alphys date left me in the dump.
I also saw him on Alphys' table before going to the True Lab.
