Yeah, because as you noted, every other option is Merlin. Jeanne/Mash is great if you don't have Merlin or don't want to use the faggot. However, if you have access to him, it's foolish to not build a team around him (AKA buster team).

Kintoki taps out at 500k damage. Multi layered HP bars were made because of reddit-alter's obscene NP-crit-crit if you used double merlin.

Unfortunately those faggots forgot merlin has a 7 turn CD immunity that you can simply save up, and his NP aoe-heals and gives lots of stars/NP so uh, well, that stalling BS didn't turn out that well.

They should've just given immunity pierce(but not evasion, for those poor quickcucks) for 3 turns whenever you break an HP bar, ala colombus/megaros.

same here but there are some jp challenges that are pretty much impossible without at least 1 merlin/ insane rng of some sort (the recent boars challenge comes to mind)
