On a related note, is it really accurate to characterise Israel as a "colonialist" state 1. the "colonialists" are also indigenous to the region and 2. most of the people living there didn't move there by choice?

America should take them. The BLM (Bureau of Land Management, not Black Lives Matter) literally controls more than double the land that Israel occupies and uses it for... Absolutely nothing. We set out a nice roomy spot as "New Israel" and it becomes a state/territory of the US. Jews get a homeland, Arabs get to do whatever, less land controlled by BLM, it's literally a win-win.

The state itself was created by the UK and US, without a lot of regard to the indigenous Jews there. The European Jews were the ones who mostly created and then later set up the infrastructure of the government. So the STATE itself is colonialist, also considering the apartheid approach it has to the Arab natives.

That's not even true. By the end of WW2 the UK was trying hard to stop Jewish immigration to Palestine, the British Empire even had troops fighting on the side of the Arabs in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War that created the Israeli state.

I think the real answer here is for Israel to finally buck worldwide opinion and annex Palestine outright. Annex Palestine and displace them into neighbouring countries where they can be Muslim in peace. I understand that there are cultural differences between Palestinians and other Arab slims but there's no reason they shouldn't take them in, they are religious kin after all.
If you want Palestine to become it's own state then ask yourself one simple question: would it really be a good thing to have abother Muslim theocracy in the middle east? Because we all know that's how it's going to turn out one way or another.
After annexing Palestine, Israel should take advantage of the current discord in the region and install puppet governments in each country that neighbours them.

No one except Muslims are expecting for Israel to be dismantled. The Jews can have their own state as long as it doesn't imply sending them the worlds hard earned tax revenue for military assistance and they don't continue to agitate the Muslim community even further by building more settlements and agree to the 1967 boundaries. If they did this and Muslims continued to retaliate the world would feel less guilty about them getting bombed.
