>Shinobi kick is 700ms and confirms 25 damage (slower than a Centurion heavy for the same damage)
>Conq shield bash is 500ms and confirms 12 damage

The only time these attacks are really "dangerous" is in extremely close range 1v1 fights where you can't dodge them properly, and maybe Warden's at that range since it hits more or less instantly.

Cent's kick is genuinely fine, Conq's bash is frustrating and impossible to punish but doesn't really do any damage, Shinobi's kick is 100% safe but nobody plays the little cunt anymore.

Conq's forward bash now guarantees a side heavy on the non-guarded direction

Shinobis forward kick is 500ms still, and his side dodges were nerfed to 600ms from 400ms. They are still fine to use

Wat, Shugo is good but not really diamond 5 good. Maybe it depends on the region but all I get are peacekeepers or gladiators sped up by lack of timesnippetisnoop. Mostly they just get some instant light in and then back off.

Shugoki kinda falls apart against Gladiator because he has no fucking vulnerability frames you can use your super armour to exploit, and Shugoki's dash recoveries take a million years so punishing the toe stab (if you do dodge it since you're such an obese fuck) is really fucking hard.

Who has the best default outfits for you /fhg/? I wanna here some opinions.
Mine is shinobi and Lawbringer, maybe Cent too if you choose the shiny silver.

All the defaults look really good, which I think is a part of the reason why people get upset that a lot of the customisation options are so fucking shitty. The only "bad" default I can think of is probably Highlander with that stupid fucking hair.

Highlander's later options are really nice, which is a shame because I really don't wanna get him to Rep 7 just to look okay. He also has an issue where you can't actually mix and match his armour because a lot of it has different tartan patterns, and mixing that shit is awful.

It's based on the release trailers for Highlander and Gladiator where it was stated that the reason Highlander is even involved is because of ancient obligations to the Vikings as opposed to his volition.

Came because of salty For Honor players shitting up /asg/ but now that I'm here idk what they were talking about
is this game worth buying?

My friend bought me Absolver at release and I got a good 30 hours out of it, but I'm Australian so the game is already dead here. Absolver is pretty fucking dead and the balance is even worse than For Honor. Pretty much every single person uses the same cookie cutter builds based around extremely fast dodge attacks that have heaps of i-frames.

If the single player portion was more extensive (it's fucking 2 hours, if that) then I would really like it. The idea of an enormous, open world kung-fu adventure is appealing, but the game's total area is maybe the size of Firelink Shrine, Undead Berg and Undead Parish combined in Dark Souls, and there's no exploring to speak of.

I highly doubt its us must be false flaggers

Just an FYI, they've added OCE servers and a balance update was also released

And yes, those "meta" deck stages in the first few days were annoying as fuck

For Honor is pretty dead on PC, and I know about the OCE servers in Absolver but there are so few players here that you fight the same 5-10 guys over and over, and they all use really memey builds with shitty internet connections.

For Honor suffers a similar fate on PC where if you do duels (you shouldn't) you will fight the same 10-40 people over and over again, often playing the same obnoxious classes like Peacekeeper and Orochi. Dominion, the 4v4 mode, is fun... but the massive gear inflation makes it super hard to get into with a new character or as a new player. When you go against some guy who's max level, he'll be dealing an additional 20% damage and have an extra 20% stamina that regenerates significantly faster, which just isn't fun.

You know, I have extended family. "Interesting" people would be the best way to describe them, they live on the other side of the country... they're on my mother's side. The Howells, we call them. Well, that's what my Dad calls them, since he never really liked them that much. See, the thing about the Howells is that the matriarch of the family, Maude, is incredibly anti-military, which really doesn't mesh with my Dad's worldview. He was in the army, his dad Ford was in the army, and his grandfather was in the army, and so on.

So, one year, we are visiting the Howells, right? Things are going great, but Michael Howell, Maude's husband, asked my Dad to bring his father's medals and honors and stuff to their holiday home by the lake so he could look at them and maybe even get their authenticity evaluated. Maude really didn't like this. According to her, they represented war, oppression, and evil. While my dad was showing them to Michael one day, she ran up, grabbed a handful of medals, and tossed them right into the lake. Naturally, my dad was furious as he greatly adored his father's medals. An argument ensued, and Michael was FURIOUS.

It was completely out of character, but Maude was desperate to make things right. The Howells, fortunately, had a pump that could help retrieve the medals from the bottom of the lake. Maude retrieved it from the garage and got to work while my family watched. What we didn't realise was that Maude actually didn't know how the pump worked, so she accidentally set the fucking thing to "blow" instead of suck. Instead of simply sucking the medals into the tank on the pump, they were shot straight up into the air and onto the shoreline of the lake! It still had the same effect, and we were able to retrieve my grandfather's merit badges and like.

What I am trying to say, I guess, is that Maude Howell blew Ford's honors right out of the goddamn water.

If you are picking Shinobi or Gladiator, then their guards are incredibly short. I think about 500ms, so if you go to block an attack as soon as you see it, there's a chance your guard will run out before it even collides with you.

What do I even do for a mixup when my opponent is out of stamina as cent?

Feinted heavies just get blocked, the unblockable is parried, and kick/jab is dodged. There's no Warden style mixup that I can use for damage.

abuse your bullshit zone

a mix of kicks, blank dodges, gbs, and soft feinted gbs. sometimes after a kick connects you can feint heavy into gb.

Kick/GB mixup. Surprise them by mixing it up even more with lights after dash. Most people are so focused on watching for the unblockable kick that they forget you can also attack. Once you smack em with the light, they'll be encouraged to watch out for the lights as well which makes them lose concentration and hopefully fuck up even more. Honestly, this is the best you can do.
