Literally impossible because Steam is a piece of shit that forces updates upon you no matter what you do.
The only solution is to use smart steam emu, but that doesn't entirely work, either.

I was the one who posted this house, I made some improvements and this is how it looks now. I think its definitely much better.

Go to your steam folder and rename the "Terraria" folder to something like "Terraria 1.3.5.3 modded". Steam will do nothing to it when the update comes.

Cute! Maybe you can paint the exterior of the big mushrooms so that it has big spots, like the mushroom trees.

Go into offline mode, then block Steam in your firewall for extra safety. Should do fine as long as you havenofriends.

I just went to my Steam folder, and renamed the "Terraria" folder to "Terraria modded"; i placed the executable shortcut on the desktop and now, Steam doesn't updates it.

Steam does update a new folder it made called "Terraria", but i don't really give a damn.

This is the base for my true hunter play through, ranged only, where I have to collect every boss trophy and keep the weapon that killed it. I was going for a medieval-ish style, because bows were hype as shit back then. Posting because I'm looking for suggestions for the space next to the target range pavilion with the four trees. What structure could fit there? I was thinking a shrine to whatever god/godess of the hunt my nerd ass fucking character worships. The grassy pit is the original spawn and I don't want to disturb that, but that is the only constraint.

Is Terraria true random? I'm fairly noobish, doing my first full playthrough completing shit. I'm in the dungeon, trying to farm ninja gear. I've killed at least 60 bone lees (got a banner I think) and I've gotten...1 black belt. That's all. No other items, zero, zilch. It even says its a 10% chance.

i'll assume you're on expert and it says 12.5. but still rng is basically "never gonna drop" so prepare to be there farming forever.

rng will bend you over the table sometimes. 60 bone lees for 1 belt sounds like some of the worst luck i've heard of though.

Ships are pretty difficult to make and look nice in 2d format desu js
even in 3d, they're kind of lame looking but look cool because they have cannons and they're big and shit.

I think that the NPC AI has really gotten better since I've first played maybe 3 or 4 years ago.
I don't even have problems with Guide.
I do occasionally have issues with placing items that the NPCs are in the same block as.

So you both get eaten.

The only things he did was give you some tips and invite creatures of the night to slaughter you. That's why everybody hated Guide back then

Did it get buffed recently? Because during my bard run a few months ago I found it to be completely useless, and liked the Midnight Bass Booster a lot more.

unlike minecraft, terraria is actually a game on its own, and doesn't need to be played with mods.

Minecraft is 3D and doesn't have anything besides exploration and build stuff while Terraria is 2D that has exploration and building but wait there's more, you can fight enemies and bosses and shit while progressing ans shit.
